St. Marks, Barrow

St. Marks, Barrow St. Mark's is a Bible believing Church in the Church of England It is predominantly a working class parish with a wide mix of ages.

In the Diocese of Carlisle and has a regular worshipping congregation of approximately 110 people. The Church itself is situated Barrow's town centre and has a parish encompassing around 1800 homes and half of the town centre shops and offices. Built in 1878 to serve the expanding population of the Town, it is still dedicated to helping local people find the love of God for themselves.

This week we have celebrated the birthday of Barbara. We thank God for her service to others in St. Marks and are very grateful for all she does. We are open today 9:30 - 12:00 noon. Knit and natter meets in the Lower room this morning and we have lots of beautiful ladies items for free if anyone needs some. 🤗
