St. Marks, Barrow

St. Marks, Barrow St. Mark's is a Bible believing Church in the Church of England It is predominantly a working class parish with a wide mix of ages.

In the Diocese of Carlisle and has a regular worshipping congregation of approximately 110 people. The Church itself is situated Barrow's town centre and has a parish encompassing around 1800 homes and half of the town centre shops and offices. Built in 1878 to serve the expanding population of the Town, it is still dedicated to helping local people find the love of God for themselves.

Free admission and you’ll receive a course booklet along with refreshments at St. Mark’s cafe. Every Thursday at 10:30 - 11:30 am for 6 weeks starting on the 25th June, St Mark’s Church. Tomorrow only the cafe and Lower room will be open at St Marks due to a problem with the upstairs ceiling. Chair exercise as normal in Lower room. Sorry for any inconvenience. ☺️
