We’re excited to be welcoming Peter who will be coming to help build St Aidans work with children and families from September

We’re delighted to share the news that Peter Bloxham has been appointed as Growing Younger Enabler for St Paul’s & St Aidan’s, as part of Rising Faith Barrow! 🙌🌱

Peter’s role is all about helping our churches grow younger: growing and deepening the discipleship of children and young people at St Paul’s, while helping our church planting and revitalisation at St Aidan’s develop its engagement with children, young people and families. 👧👦⛪

Peter brings significant experience in children’s, youth and family ministry. He is currently serving in Doncaster and previously served in a similar role at a church in north-west London. At the heart of his ministry is a passion for helping children and young people discover Jesus, grow in faith and find their place within the life and mission of the local church.

Peter said, “I’m excited to be in a new area and community, and to get to know and work alongside different people with the same heart to share the good news of Jesus with children, young people and families in Barrow.” 💬

Peter is married to Grace, who hails from Furness, and they have a baby girl. They’ll be moving to Furness in early September, with Peter beginning his new role later that month.

Please join us in praying for Peter and his family as they prepare to move, for the churches and communities they are leaving behind, and for St Paul's and St Aidan's as they look forward to all that God might do amongst the next generation. 🙏

Welcome to Rising Faith Barrow, Peter! 🎉
