Are tarot cards, horoscopes and other forms of fortune-telling harmless, or do they carry spiritual dangers? What does the Bible teach about seeking knowledge of the future, and how is this different from biblical prophecy?

In this sermon from Pastor Andrea Rowan, we explore what Scripture says about divination, astrology, fortune-telling and the desire to know what lies ahead. We examine why God warns His people against seeking spiritual guidance through these practices and why we are called instead to trust in Him.

What Does the Bible say about Demons?

Pastor Mark Rowan explores what the Bible actually says about demons in this message. He examines the biblical understanding of spiritual darkness, the reality of evil, and the contrast between the kingdom of darkness and the light of God. Drawing on Scripture, the message considers how Jesus confronted demonic forces, demonstrated His authority over evil, and brought freedom, healing and restoration to those who were oppressed.

The message invites us to look beyond popular culture, fear and misconceptions to discover what the Bible really teaches about demons and spiritual warfare. It also highlights the victory of Jesus Christ, the power of His light to overcome darkness, and the hope and freedom found in Him. Ultimately, it encourages believers to remain grounded in biblical truth, to discern darkness without becoming preoccupied with it, and to live confidently in the light, truth and authority of Christ.
