Today was one of those significant days.
In 2019, Julie joined Love Life Church at our very first location, not knowing that just one year later we would purchase Salem Chapel on Blucher Street in Barnsley, a building where her grandad, Joe, was ordained as a minister in the 1960s.
Years later, her mother, Doreen, would also go on to preach there.
Then today, the baton was passed on to Julie as she preached her first ever message at Love Life Church.
It was a great and encouraging message on faith. As Julie was preaching, I found myself reflecting on the power of legacy, the power of praying grandparents and parents, and how some things are simply destined to happen.
Julie had no idea when she joined our church in 2019 that we would eventually end up in the very church where her grandad was ordained and her mother preached. Yet here she is today, standing on the same stage , in the same building, preaching herself.
Absolutely amazing.
God has a plan not only for you, but for your children and your children’s children. It’s incredible how a gift can be passed from one generation to the next that’s God’s heart and His design.
