This Sunday is our annual Children’s Sunday!

We want to celebrate all the ministries that serve children at Ballygilbert, from the youngest to the oldest.

We’re going to meet for a short time in the church and then enjoy some fun together. Bouncy castle, ice-cream, face-painting, and a free book for every child that comes along.

Evangelicals seeking permanence and rootedness are reclaiming the practice of singing out of books.

“If you’re in a church that just goes with the most popular songs, where is your sense of permanence? Think of the kids growing up in your church. Where is their sense of permanence? What songs are they going to remember and sing as they age? The hymnal slows us down,” said composer, arranger, and music minister Dan Kreider.

Tomorrow at BPC, we’ll be talking about holiness.

What a scary word that is!

Christians are sometimes accused of being “holier than thou,” or for taking on the role of the moral police in society.

That probably has happened but it is not based on anything in the Bible.

Why not come and hear what real holiness is all about? It’s our All-Age service so an easy half hour tomorrow for all the family. 11.00am as usual.
