1st Bangor Boys Brigade

1st Bangor Boys Brigade First Bangor Boys Brigade 1st Bangor Boys' Brigade is a Christian youth organisation working with boys between the ages of 4–18.

We provide a balanced programme of activities, each Friday night offering the boys something different. All of our staff are volunteers and our aim at First Bangor Boys Brigade is to make a positive contribution to the life of each boy.

1st Bangor Boys Brigade was founded on the 14th May 1929. In 2009 1st Bangor BB celebrated it's 80th Anniversary and the Boys Brigade celebrated its 125th Anniv

ersary. The Boys Brigade and our object (mission statement) at 1st Bangor is "The advancement of Christ's kingdom among Boys and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-respect and all that tends towards a true Christian manliness."

BB is back this Friday for Company/Seniors and all those boys in P7. Meeting in the Guild Hall 7.30pm to 9.00pm, no uniform. A relaxing evening of sport. For those not interested in sport, Gordy will be commencing his role playing game, “The Hidden War”.

Bugle Boys and Anchors will not be meeting this Fri, they have an extra week off. Juniors & Co Section will be meeting, normal times, to enable them to practise their items for our Display, which is quickly approaching. No uniform required.
