Starting Tomorrow: 3 Months of Prayer as a local church we are reading through the Book of Acts this Summer. As part of our local church engagment with the Diocesan initiative "Speak Jesus"

Speak Jesus is a movement across the Diocese of Down and Dromore to reconnect every home with their local parish church and to declare the name of Jesus into every life.

As we look ahead to Autumn 2025, our vision is bold: to proclaim hope, peace, and the presence of God over every home in Seahill.

In our own church and community, we’re dedicating these next 3 months to prayer—asking God to strengthen, equip, and prepare us for what lies ahead. We’re getting ready to step out in faith this Autumn with community events and outreach opportunities designed to make a lasting impact.

Join us as we seek God’s heart, listen for His voice, and commit to being vessels of His love and truth. Together, let’s speak Jesus—into every home, every heart, and every corner of our community.

My studio for this morning! Sunshine, sea, worship and some thoughts!

Was pondering about Peter and his denial of Jesus. That bitter moment when he heard the cockerel crow and knew he'd done wrong...(I can imagine that sinking feeling in his gut) ...even though he'd been there and saw the amazing things Jesus had done, as well as his lowest moments of humanity; Beaten, betrayed, killed....
But God's forgiveness is astounding, undeserving and covers everything!! His love for us is like nothing else experienced.

Thoughts around peace, hope, God's love for us.

In this session Kathie Taggart Filby spoke about trusting God, Isaiah 49:13-18 and mentioned walls... And i was reminded of being in Israel/Palestine when the wall was being built and speaking to people who had been separated from their families and their olive groves, their inheritance.... Olive trees are so significant in the bible and in the middle east symbolising peace, reconciliation and blessing .... Sometimes we build our own walls and cut off the very thing that is FOR us/the blessings of God... Maybe it's time to knock the walls down.

I hear the Saviour say,

Find in Me thine all in all."

Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.

Lord, now indeed I find
Thy pow'r and Thine alone,
Can change the leper's spots
And melt the heart of stone.

Where-by Thy grace to claim;
I'll wash my garments white
In the blood of Calv'ry's Lamb.
