We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Richard last night, who was a dear friend and former pastor here at Bangor Elim.

Please send our love, thoughts and prayers to Margaret and the family during this difficult time. May you all find comfort and peace in the Lord, who Richard served so well.

Thank you for praying for Pastor Richard McBurney. This evening our Pastor Emeritus Richard McBurney passed into the presence of Jesus very peacefully and surrounded by those who love him.

“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants.” — Psalm 116‬:‭15‬

Please pray for his lovely wife Margaret and the wider family in the days ahead.

There is so much to be said, Pastor Richard served Elim faithfully over decades. So many of our Church family truly loved Richard and he will be missed.

RAF IS BACK!

We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone back to RAF – Retired & Free at Bangor Elim.

There are a few changes this year, so please take note of our NEW DAY, NEW TIME and NEW LOCATION:

📅 2nd Tuesday of every month
⏰ 2pm – 3.30pm
☕ Source Coffee Shop
🗓 Starting Tuesday 8th September

RAF is for senior citizens and those who are retired. It’s simply a chance to get out, enjoy good company, meet old friends and make some new ones.

Each month will be a little different, with friendship, faith, fellowship, interesting guests, music, encouragement, plenty of conversation and, of course, tea and coffee!

Our theme is:
Growing in faith, friendship and fellowship.

Whether you’ve been part of RAF before or have never been, you’ll be made very welcome.

Please help us spread the word to anyone you think would enjoy coming along.
