We were praying for peace, an end to hatred and racism, terror and violent attacks on our streets, as well as for victims in hospital, and seeking true revival in our province this afternoon at our prayer for revival meeting πŸ™

O Lord, hear our prayer πŸ™

All welcome to our May Praise Night this Sunday 31 May in our halls (Maxwell halls, 30 Main St) at 7:30-8:30pm. We want this to be a relaxed space for us to praise our Lord together in joy and freedom! πŸŽ‰

We're just a small group and we'd love you to join us!

The message will be inspired by the fact that exactly 86 years ago the 'Dunkirk miracle' evacuations were taking place (May 26-June 4, 1940)... as the nation was called to prayer πŸ™

🌳 SAVE THE TREES 🌳

Here in Groomsport village, we're urgently petitioning the Department of Infrastructure to reconsider potential plans to cut down some of the street trees along Groomsport Main street (a few of which are pictured below), desiring them to look at alternatives to repair & prevent pavement damage, which is the reason for the plans.

After a great united effort between Groomsport Village Association and Discover Groomsport, a few hundred physical signatures have been given already. If you'd like to add your voice, please consider signing this - for instance, one additional page is in our church porch (see picture), which is always open during the day. Please also feel free to write to your elected representatives, of all parties, to gently encourage them to use their influence in support of this too.

We hope this to be a really positive example of 'people power' and solidarity, achieving a positive difference and saving these precious natural lives! 🌳

We had a great time at our Sunday Fun Club last weekend designing limpets, representing our faith as clinging to Jesus, the Rock of hope! 🐚

Sunday Fun Club is a very relaxed and informal all-age space for children with their parents, carers and/or grandparents to come to together to explore faith in Jesus through play and creative activities. Free and open to all 9:30-10:30am every Sunday term-time in our halls (Maxwell hall, Main street) πŸŽ‰
