This term we'll be reading Immerse Messiah together as Life Groups. Our Sunday morning talks will be based around the same themes so that we can really 'immerse' ourselves in the scriptures this term.

👨‍🏫BACK TO SCHOOL FUN! 🎒

WE'D LOTS OF FUN LAST WEEK AT OUR SPECIAL 'RESTART' SERVICE: It was such a privilege to pray, for all those in our church family, who work in Education and for all the children starting school. 🫶The kids received their 'backpack blessing' and we continue to pray for each of them in this new school year.🙏

A REALLY BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who took part in the service.🩷

🇳🇵❤️ NEPAL FLOOD APPEAL - BRITISH RED CROSS 🇳🇵❤️
Lives, homes and communities devastated after sudden flash floods struck Nepal's Rasuwa district on 26 August. The flooding, caused by a surge of water entering the Bhote Koshi River from Tibet, swept through villages with little warning.

Families lost loved ones, homes and livelihoods in a matter of hours. Many people have been forced from their homes and are facing an uncertain future as search and rescue efforts continue.

Nepal Red Cross Society emergency teams are working on the ground in areas where help is needed most. You can support this life-saving work through Bangor Parish Church:

1) via bank transfer (details on the giving page of our website) using reference NEPAL

2) via cash/cheque in church this Sunday (appeal envelopes provided)

3) or via our contactless terminal at the Welcome Point.
