We hope you’ve had a wonderful summer so far and have found opportunities to enjoy the sunshine, the warmth, family and friends. The summer holidays can be a mix of relaxation, trying to entertain bored children, and juggling work schedules. Sometimes all you have is 5 minutes to take a deep breath.

We’ve been walking through some of the Psalms on a Sunday and here’s one that you can read in your five minutes of quiet to calm the chaos of the world around.

We pray Psalm 121 blesses you today and that you feel the Lord’s peace and protection over you.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!

We’re super excited to be recruiting for a full‑time Compassion Pastor at KingdomWay!

We’re looking for someone who feels called to all that goes on in a local church, but with a particular responsibility for leading ministries that support hundreds across our community each month.

If this sounds like you — or someone you know — you’ll find all the details via the link in our bio.

And if it’s not for you, a quick share could help the right person see it.

At KingdomWay we love seeing so many children come through our doors on a Sunday morning! We believe that children are a delight to have in our midst. After all, Jesus always made time for the children he encountered and so we do too.

“Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” - Matthew‬ ‭19‬:‭13‬-‭14‬

“An apple a day,” they say. But it’s true! An apple really can be the difference between a child having a healthy after school snack or no snack at all.

Last year we provided 2,768 apples to our Restart Social Supermarket clients in their weekly food shops.

If you need food help, please reach out.
If you would like to help provide the finances for us to provide these apples, please reach out. The fact is, we can’t provide this food without generous donations like yours.

The very reason we have the letters written to the early churches, was that they were getting things wrong. They were alive in their faith and the power of God was at work among them, but even they were not discerning things correctly and had to be instructed, so why would we be arrogant enough to think that we are better attuned to God than them? Everything we believe God is saying to us needs to be measured by the plumb line of scripture.
