In case you missed it! Tamsyn Radmall visited us to share about the work Safe Families and Home for Good do to support families and children. Here’s what she had to say:

“We have a vision that no family would feel alone and every child would have a home where they can flourish. We are constantly inspired by Psalm 68 which says ‘God sets the lonely in families’, what an amazing call for us to live out as the church. We currently have a contract with Aberdeenshire council that allows us to partner with local churches to support families. Our commitment is to support 40 families every year. They have a week of focus every year which we like to highlight. Christian Aid partners with local organisations in vulnerable communities to provide emergency relief, support long-term development, and campaign for issues like climate justice, fair economic systems, peace-building and human rights. Meet Adrienne Ferguson, our new Children’s Ministry Coordinator!

This Sunday, we had the joy of welcoming Adrienne into her new role. We asked what she’s most excited about, and how we can be praying for her. Here’s a glimpse of her heart:

“I have started to see what God has been revealing to the children, and I am just undone. I just wanted to partner with you and partner with the Lord to see more of that. I have high expectations that we are going to hear and see some truly awesome things in these kids.”

“Prayer that God would really reveal his heart to me in this season…and another really important thing is that we have fun! So pray for that”

We are so excited and blessed to have Adrienne take on this role. Please be praying for her as she does so.
