What a Sunday with Luke Brendling! 🔥

THE DANGER OF WINDING PATHS.

When the highway of faith gets uncomfortable, it can be tempting to take the easier road - but detours always cost us something.

Luke challenged us on three winding paths we can so easily find ourselves on:

➡️ Delayed obedience - substituting a future promise for present obedience.
➡️ Surface-level peace - avoiding the hard conversations instead of becoming true peacemakers.
➡️ Chasing comfort - choosing what feels safe and easy over the process that builds our character and strengthens our faith.

“Delayed obedience is still disobedience.”

God isn’t only concerned with where He is taking us - He cares about who we become along the way.

And even if we realise we’ve been walking the wrong road, it isn’t too late.

God is the Master Recalculator.

Your delay does not disqualify you.
Your fear does not determine your future.
Your complacency does not have to be your conclusion.

Get off the winding path. Fix your eyes on Jesus. Choose courage over comfort and step back onto the highway of faith. 🙌

We’re delighted to be supporting Janet and her family as they hold a very special Macmillan Coffee Morning at Cove & Co in memory of Janet’s sister.

Join us on Saturday 26th September, from 10am–1pm for a cuppa, something lovely to eat and, most importantly, the chance to help raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. 💚

Another great Sunday together! 🙌🏻❤️

Pastor Brian kicked off a new series ‘When Heaven Hears’ - instead of having a ‘prayer life’… prayer itself is a life to be lived.. as we ‘pray without ceasing’. And when we surrender our lives to Jesus we will know true peace, mercy, wholeness and grace-abounding love. 🙏❤️
