As the cost of living continues to increase let’s give thanks for organisations like Christians Against Poverty and others who support people overwhelmed by debt and financial challenges. Pray that those who are in difficulty will find ways to access the support they need.

Loving God, we lift before you all those living with dementia, asking for comfort, patience, and moments of peace in each day. Strengthen families, carers, and all who support them, filling their hearts with compassion and understanding. During

📚 Training in Ministry
Pray for the ordination of Dr Matthew Houston and his induction as Lecturer in Church History, taking place later this month. Pray also for Rev Dr Graham Shearer as he will be inducted as Lecturer in Theology. Pray that this combined service will be an encouragement to both men, their families and the College community. Pray, too, that they will make significant contributions to the work of the wider church.
⛪ General Council
Pray for the post-ordination conference taking place this upcoming week in Assembly Buildings and the work of Rev Gordon Best, Dean of Ministerial Studies and Development. Pray for those in the post ordinand phase of their ministry as they deal with the challenges and opportunities of serving in a congregation in the first years.
