💓PRAYER FOCUS – Presbyterian Women Overseas Project 2026/27

This week, please join us in praying for our Special Overseas Project with the Bible Society of Malawi.
Many families in rural Malawi do not own a Bible and rarely have the opportunity to read God’s Word together. Through this project, families are given Scripture Engagement Packs - including a Bible, a children’s Bible, and daily reading guides -to help them grow in faith together.

Our goal is to raise £15,000 to support this life-changing work, helping nurture faith from generation to generation.

🙏 Pray that these resources will strengthen families, deepen faith, and share God’s Word in every home.
🙏Pray for children in Malawi, that they would come to know and love Jesus as they hear Scripture in their own language.
🙏Pray for parents and guardians, that God would give them confidence to lead family times of Bible reading.
🙏Pray that this project will create lasting faith in homes, not just for now, but for future generations.
🙏Pray for the Bible Society of Malawi and Scripture Union, that God would strengthen and guide their work.

A big thank you to all the ladies who came to our last meeting for this year’s PW. It is a great encouragement to the Committee as we seek to draw strength from each other at this time.
We had a wonderful evening of fellowship at Sweetness and Light Bakery, drinking delicious coffees and sampling tasty traybakes. Thank you so much to the staff for all their hard work too 👏 👏
