📖 BIBLES4KIDS IS BACK! 🇰🇪❤️

After being on hold for a number of years, Vision4Kids is delighted to relaunch our Bibles4Kids Appeal — and we need your help!

For many of us, having a Bible is something we take for granted. We may have several Bibles in our homes, on our phones and sitting on our bookshelves.

But for many Christians in Kenya and across Africa, access to their own Bible is still a real challenge.

At Vision4Kids, we believe every child should have the opportunity to hear and read God’s Word for themselves. We want to place Bibles into the hands of children in Kenya, giving them their own copy of God’s Word to read, treasure and share.

📖 One Bible can change a life.
📖 One Bible can reach a family.
📖 One Bible can point a child to Christ.

That’s why Bibles4Kids is being relaunched.

🙏 Would you consider helping us put a Bible into the hands of a child?

No matter how large or small your donation, you can make a difference.

Please share this appeal with your friends, family, church, Bible study group and Christian contacts. Together, we can help get God’s Word into the hands of children who may otherwise never have their own Bible.

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” — Romans 10:17 (KJV)

🎨 A Huge Thank You! 🎨

Once again, we extend our heartfelt thanks to our good friend and loyal supporter, Newtownards artist Ken Legge, for his incredible generosity.

Through the sale of his beautiful paintings, Ken has donated an amazing £1,000 to support the work of Vision4Kids. Every penny will help us continue making a real difference in the lives of children in Kenya.

Pictured is Ken’s friend and helper, Alfie Gibson, presenting the donation to our Chairman, Irwin Holmes. We’ve also included a photograph of Ken’s artwork on display at one of the markets where his paintings are sold.

Thank you, Ken and Alfie, for your kindness, dedication, and ongoing support. We are truly grateful.

What a fantastic day in the Mourne Mountains as our amazing team of volunteers took on the challenge to raise funds for Vision4Kids!

Starting from Meelmore Lodge, we made our way up the Trassey Track, with most of the group following the beautiful Brandy Pad before ascending Slieve Donard from the saddle between Donard and Slieve Commedagh.

A few of the more adventurous members of the team branched off at the top of Hare’s Gap to bag a few extra peaks, including Commedagh, before rejoining the main group for the final climb to the summit of Donard.

The views were spectacular, and although it was windy on the summit, the weather was kind to us throughout the day.

Unfortunately, one of our volunteers, Rhonda, had to turn back early after suffering a dislocated finger in a fall. We wish her a full and speedy recovery.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, supported, encouraged, and donated. Every step taken was to help give disadvantaged children a brighter future through Vision4Kids.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to donate yet, it’s not too late. Our fundraising link is still live, and every gift—large or small—will make a real difference in the lives of the children we serve. Thank you for your continued support! ❤️

A lovely, relaxed evening filled with creativity, laughter, and purpose. Gathered around the table, everyone got stuck into crafting, chatting over cups of tea and enjoying the simple joy of being together. There’s a real sense of warmth in the room, sharing ideas and helping one another bring their creations to life.

The focus of the night is clear: preparing beautiful handmade items, including the bright and eye-catching Vision4Kids tote bags, each one made with care and intention. Scissors, paints, and materials are spread across the table, showing just how much effort is going into every detail.

More than just a craft night, it’s a time of fellowship and shared vision—people coming together to support a cause close to their hearts. Every item made will help raise much-needed funds, making a real difference in the lives of children. A simple evening, but one with lasting impact.
