To mark November, the month of special prayers for the faithful departed, we will have a traditional Latin requiem Mass (1962 Missal) at Our Lady & St Patrick's church in Ballymoney on Monday 22nd November at 7.30pm. All are welcome to attend and we will be following all appropriate Covid guidelines.

There will be a traditional Latin Mass at Our Lady & St Patrick's church in Ballymoney on Thursday 1st July at 7.30pm to celebrate the feast of the Precious Blood of Jesus. The Mass will be open to the public following the usual health guidelines (social distancing, sign in for track & trace, masks to be worn unless exempt etc.)

It is planned to be a Missa Cantata (a fully sung Mass with ceremonial). Many thanks to all those who are helping to organise it or will be taking part on the day.

There will be a Latin Mass in the Extraordinary Form on All Souls' Day (Monday 2nd November) at 7.30pm in Our Lady & St Patrick's church in Ballymoney. It will be open to the public.

Just a reminder that a public Low Mass for the feast of the Assumption will take place at 11am tomorrow morning (Saturday 15th August) here in Our Lady & St Patrick’s church, Ballymoney.

There will be a public latin low Mass for the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Our Lady & St Patrick's church, Ballymoney at 11am on Saturday 15th August. Due to social distancing the capacity of the church is limited to around 50 people.

Tomorrow (May 21st) is Ascension Thursday in the traditional calendar and Mass will hopefully be live streamed at 8am. Our church reopens for private prayer tomorrow afternoon from 12noon to 4pm, and then regularly at those times on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you are able to visit, you would be most welcome.

For Catholics May is the month of special devotion to Our Lady. We can't come together in the church this year, but perhaps we could bring back the tradition of a May altar at home? In this video Fr Damian explains more about May altars, sets up one in the parochial house and talks about the scriptural foundation for doing so. May God bless us and Our Lady protect us this May.
