With just over 3 weeks remaining to our annual band parade on Wednesday 20th August 2025, we are delighted that Pride of the Maine Flute Band will lead our parade through the streets of Ballymena.

The parade will start from Ballymoney road carpark at 8.30pm sharp following our traditional parade route around the town.

Traditionally the band will stop at Memorial gardens to lay wreaths as we remember those that sacrificed their life for our tomorrow.

Prior to the main parade local lambeg drumming club will be performing on the evening from 7.30pm.

Any supporting bands wishing to attend get in touch through the band page so we can update the 11/1.

Funding Opportunity for Bands – Now Open!

The Arts Council of Northern Ireland, supported by the Department for Communities, has reopened its Musical Instruments for Bands Scheme.

🎶 Grants of up to £10,000 are available
📅 Deadline: Friday 1st August 2025

This is a fantastic opportunity for marching bands to upgrade or purchase new instruments and continue their musical development.

📣 Date for the diary!

At Tildarg Orange Hall, the historian Dr Andrew Charles will be giving a presentation on Orangeism & Northern Ireland’s contribution to the Allied War effort.

There will be a buffet and musical entertainment also!

During our event two Roll of Honours will be dedicated to Tildarg Platoon of the Ulster Home Guard and also to the RAF servicemen who perished in two tragic flight accidents on the Collin Mountain near our Hall during the War.
