Straid LOL 521 are pleased to announce the installation of new solar panels on the hall roof as part of our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and investing in a more sustainable future.
The new system also includes a 10kw storage battery, allowing us to store renewable energy for use when needed as well as returning surplus energy back into the main grid. This upgrade will help improve energy efficiency within the hall and provide long-term benefits for all hall users in the years ahead.
We are delighted to take this positive step towards greener energy and a more environmentally friendly community facility.

Straid LOL 521 is delighted to announce the purchase of a new pool table for Straid orange hall. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Northern Area Community Network for delivering the funding on behalf of Daera Micro grants.
The pool table will be available for use by all hall users in the near future, and we look forward to seeing everyone enjoy this great addition to our facilities.

We’re excited to share that we have secured funding to carry out a range of important upgrades to improve energy efficiency and enhance our building for the future.
