๐ Porters Tours - what a day that was!!
๐ After picking up passengers in Cookstown, Rasharkin and Dunloy Porters tours took in the Glens of Antrim. On a day that the weather forecast was 95% Rain it managed to stay dry until roughly 4.30pm
๐we stopped off at
- Carnlough Presbyterian Church where we were made most welcome and enjoyed tea/coffee and mouth watering homemade scones with strawberry jam and cream
- Then we journeyed to Cushendall Presbyterian Church and although it has been unused for a number of years it has to be said is in pretty good condition and prayerfully will be used again soon ๐
- We Journeyed on by Cushendun and Waterfoot to Ballycastle where we had lunch after being impressed by Mark the bus drivers manoeuvres at the harbour car park!!
- After our stop in Ballycastle we travelled on via Bushmills to Portstewart for a walk around the shops and an โunnecessary ice creamโ for the writer of this post ๐
- Our final stop before heading home was the Lodge Hotel for a tasty and very filling two course meal.
- A very blessed day was had by all from the youngest, to those in their teens and the rest of us who have had a few more laps completed in life ๐คฉ
- Thank you again to Rev Porter for organising and we are all looking forward to our next trip ๐
