MORNING WORSHIP
Sunday 14th June 2026
11.30am

Tomorrow's gospel tells us how our Lord Jesus looked on the crowds with deep compassion, and then sent his disciples out to share his work of healing and hope for a world in real need.

Join us for worship tomorrow morning, as we gather to pray for our country and give thanks for all those who have shown compassion and support to those whose lives have been shattered by violence this past week.

An article today by The Very Revd Trevor Morrow, former Moderator of the General Assembly, on the Centenary Year of Women's Ordination, highlighting the amazing work of Presbyterian women. We continue to give thanks for the work of our own women elders, demonstrating leadership in the work of our congregation.
You are warmly invited to the premiere of Equal to Rule on Tuesday May 26th at 7.30pm, Central Church, Belfast (May Street Presbyterian building).

Rite & Reason: In 1926, the Presbyterian General Assembly decided that ‘women shall be eligible ... as ruling elders on the same conditions as men’

TOILET TWINNING THANKS

A big thank you from our Youth Group for helping them raise £207 for the Tear Fund "Toilet Twinning' project. This will allow them to twin 3 of the toilets in Second Ballyeaston, as well as donate a cash donation of £27.

The young people did a fantastic presentation on Sunday morning, explaining how they decided on the project after one of their Sunday morning bible studies on Exodus 17, where God provided water for a community in need. They also helped the congregation understand the importance of the project in helping support sustainable access to decent toilets, safe drinking water and healthy hygiene. www.toilettwinning.org
