REDUCED FOOD BANK HOURS
On Wednesday 9th September the food bank will close early at 1.30pm due to a member funeral. Andrew Gregory was our Young at Heart Quiz Master and he will be sadly missed at our next meeting on Monday.
St Hugh's Food Bank's normal opening hours are every Wednesday 10am to 4pm.

Wednesday 12th August is St Hugh's annual trip to the seaside so Oasis Cafe and our Welcome Space will be closed that day. Craft Group takes place as normal (minus the cafe!). Back to normal Wednesday 19th August.

If you're over 60 and looking for a friendly group, look no further. Young at Heart meets on the first Monday of every month at The St Hugh's Centre. Every meeting is different: a guest speaker, an activity, learning a new skill. We always finish with a cuppa and quiz. Meetings cost just £2. Just drop by and join us, no pressure.

Don't forget, if you've been referred by your child's primary school to join our Summer Lunchbox Scheme, your first weekly food collection is tomorrow. Call into St Hugh's between 11am and 4pm. This scheme runs weekly throughout the school summer holidays. All collections Wednesdays. Last collection 26th August.

Join us on 18th June for a community day. We have stalls from lots of local health organisations and free health checks. We are also offering cake and cuppas in our cafe.

What better way to spend your Saturday afternoon than strolling around a Crafts and Gift Fair at The St Hugh's Centre. We're inside so no dodging the rain if the weather isn't up to much.

The Bank Holidays are interfering with our Young at Heart programme again in May. So, instead of being on the first Monday of the month as usual, we are moving to Monday 11th May. The is a great session for everyone - not too serious but good, practical tips on staying active, staying social and staying You!

At our next Over 60s meeting, long time member Paul Wooding will be talking about his appearance on the TV show Bangers and Cash. We'll see excerpts from the programme and Paul will talk about his classic car. We will also have the usual quiz, chat and refreshments. Everybody welcome!
