✨ Could you be our next Trustee?

Would you like to use your skills, experience and passion to help make a real difference to children, young people and families in our local community?

Bacup Family Centre is looking for new Trustees to join our Board!

Being a Trustee is a great opportunity to help shape the future of our charity, support our work and make sure we continue to be there for the families and young people who need us.

And don’t worry — it’s not a huge time commitment! 🙌

Our Trustee meetings take place around 4–6 times a year, and these are usually held online, making this a flexible opportunity for people who want to give something back alongside work and family life.

We’d love to hear from people who can bring new ideas, skills, experience and enthusiasm. You don’t have to have been a Trustee before — what matters most is your commitment to our charity and the community we serve. 💚💜

We have counted up and so far we have raised just over £450 in donations!

Thank you so much to everyone who sponsored us doing the Rossendale Round the hills walk.We are very sore today but all the donations, well wishes and encouragement on the day made it all worth while and every penny raised goes back in to our projects supporting those in need or crisis.

Huge thank you to Rossendale Rotary Club and all the lovely volunteers / marshalls on the day and thank you to all those who provided pit stops & refreshments along the way they were very much appreciated & needed.

There is still time to donate if you wish - it would be amazing to get up to a round £500 😉 link in the comments.

We mainly had a lovely day (If you don't count Cowpe Lowe) but we are thinking maybe a sponsored silence next year? 😂

We did it!!! Thank you all for your kind donations 🥳😊think it was a little more than 18mile though😂thanks to all who walked and sponsored us we really do appreciate it! Now to chill with a brew😴and hope we can get up the stairs at work tomorrow!

We can't see every donation until we're back in work but from what we can see we've almost reached £300 🥰💚💜
