⚠️ A reminder about safety in Avening churchyard ⚠️

Our churchyard is a special place for our community, and we want everyone to be able to enjoy it safely.

Unfortunately, ongoing ground movement has left some areas unsafe, with cracks and holes that aren't always visible, particularly in the longer grass.

We're also increasingly concerned about children playing on and around graves, and on the boundary wall beside the school, where there is a drop of several metres on the other side.

Please take a moment to read the notice below, and help us keep everyone safe by supervising children at all times and ensuring they don't climb or play on walls or graves.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
