We had a lovely harp recital this afternoon by Eira Lynn Jones.

The next concert is by Sine Nomine choir directed by Hannah Watson Emmrich next Saturday (20 June) at 7.30pm, with a selection of choral music for a summer evening.

The Bishop of Norwich is a patron of Attleborough Music Project which seeks to promote excellence in music in our part of Norfolk. The Music Project includes an annual concert series, AMP Voices (our children’s community choir) and taking music into the primary schools of Attleborough and Chapel Green School, as well as our church choir.

Some of our musicians were joined by another of the Project patrons for lunch today hosted by the Bishop for charities and projects the Bishop supports.

There's a new mat pilates class starting on Tuesday 23rd June, 6pm, first lesson free to try.

We had a great time thinking about kindness at Messy Church yesterday. Crafts included a kindness butterfly (with lollipop), a money box, bookmark as well as junk modelling. We reflected on the story of the Good Samaritan and how we might show kindness to those around us.

The next Messy Church at St Mary’s is on Sunday 13th September.
