I am starting to learn God’s goodness is not only found in answered prayers.

His goodness is also found in the prayers not answered in the way I was hoping they would be.

His goodness is also found in the work He does in the hard places of my heart.

His goodness is also found in how He holds me and fills the spaces in my life I didn’t even know needed to be filled.

His goodness is also found in the deep, dark pits when He reaches down to grab me, and He lights the way out.

His goodness is also found in the beautiful grace He gives when I mess up and He lets me try again.

His goodness is also found when He meets me in my mess and shows me my worth is only in Him.

God is truly good friends. If we are still and keep our eyes open to His work, we will be overwhelmed with all of His extraordinary goodness in our lives. Our cup will overflow, and we will be able to pour out goodness onto others.

“Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.” Psalm 23:6

We often feel like we’re running on empty, whether we are lacking sleep or we simply have too much to do. God wants to give us rest and restore us.

Take a moment to tell God what you need. Do you need help to step back and slow down? Do you need an extra burst of energy to see you through? Do you need to sleep? Lay your needs down before God.

Are you facing the impossible right now?

Are the uncertainties leaving you anxious and overwhelmed?

Take a deep breath and fill your heart with this truth— God is with you and He is for you! With Him all things are possible, even if that means He will equip you to get through the impossible without removing it from your midst. He's got you!

Keep your eyes on Him!

He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20

An umbrella cannot stop the rain but it allows us to stand in it. When problems come into your life like non stop rain, remember that God will be your umbrella.
