Today, on Pramukh Varni Din, we commemorate the day that His Holiness Shastriji Maharaj appointed His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj as the administrative head of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha in 1950.

Through his profound humility, selfless service and unwavering faith, Pramukh Swami Maharaj inspired millions to lead lives centred on God, values and service to others.

This evening, devotees gathered at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Manchester to celebrate his life and legacy through devotion, reflection and prayer. As we remembered his virtues and teachings, we were inspired once again by his timeless example of faith, compassion and selfless service.

It was a pleasure to welcome members of the NHS Retirement Fellowship to BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Manchester.

Guests enjoyed a guided tour of the Mandir and learned about Hindu values, culture, community service, and the role of the Mandir in bringing people together.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude for the immense contributions that members of the Fellowship have made through their dedicated service in the NHS and to our local communities over the years. Their commitment, care, and compassion have made a lasting difference to countless lives.

A beautiful cultural programme titled Naam Ratan, presented by children and youth, brought devotion, energy and joy to the occasion.
