Reading (and assignments) are another element of . There will be books to read and some bits of studying, but they aren't there to be like school or college, the reading and assignments are entirely to stretch your heart and help you to grow and learn.

We don't need you to pass a test before you're accepted on this "course", so don't panic!

Sundays are naturally, a pretty big element of church life... Which is why it's one of the areas you'll be investing in as a Kingdom Academy Intern .

Sundays are a chance for us to connect with God and each other as one big family. In the Bible, there are times when God meets with people on their own and in small groups, but there are also times when God loves to see a bunch of his people together in one place, worshipping Him, enjoying Him and getting fired up to go and serve a community that needs loving.

We've seen such a change in how we do Sundays, in the last year, and so we're ever changing and developing how Sunday looks, but each week you'll be getting stuck in to making happen, and you'll be trained and equipped in being a really important part of pointing people to Jesus.

"Street Work" is the one of the element of our internship year.

During each week you'll spend 4-5hours doing something out and about in the streets, changing lives in a variety of ways. Whether that's at Healing on the Streets; praying for people in the town centre, or litter picking, you'll have a hands on impact changing the town from the inside out!

Placements are a massive part of your Kingdom Academy time, 2-4 days each week will be spent in your intern placements working with the leader and team to learn and grow in that specific area. No matter your personality, passion and God-given gifts, there will be one for you.

We have placement opportunities in:

Although this is our first year launching Kingdom Academy, has had 3 separate years of inviting people to study/intern with the church.

In 2019 Kennedy Criqui packed her bags, and left her home in America to come and step into all that God is doing here in Ashford. This is what she had to say-

"As I left the United States and my family for the first time, the people at Ashford Vineyard made sure to make me feel genuinely welcomed, accepted, and loved. I was challenged to grow as an individual, in my relationships with others, and my walk with Jesus."

We know that it's not an easy decision to leave your home to move across the world for a year, and we do not take that lightly.
