At our 10am service this Sunday - 14 June - we will be celebrating the feast of St Barnabas and hearing from the Pilgrimage group that went to Cyprus in May, led by the Revd Canon Paul Miller. They followed in the footsteps of St Barnabas as well as St Paul, and Bishop David, who was one of them, will be preaching on this key figure from the origins of Christianity.

A delicious and convivial lunch at London Beach Country Hotel & Spa yesterday raised a magnificent £923 towards the cost of replacing our defunct dishwasher - much needed for Ignite - Ashford’s weekly lunches, our Tuesday and Saturday morning cafés, and other events throughout the year.

We're going to be hearing in the 10am service on Sunday from Dr Andy Charley about his work with Partnerships in International Medical Education (PRIME) in Pakistan - more information at https://www.prime-international.org/home.htm. We've been supporting Andy with prayer for a while now and look forward to finding out more about what he's been doing and how it connects with his faith.

Just a reminder that Pentecost is the one Sunday in the year when we don't always have a main morning service at St Mary's. That's because we join together with all the Church of England congregations in Ashford for our annual combined service - this year at 10.30am hosted by Singleton Community Church, which meets at Singleton Village Hall. We'll be celebrating 10 years as Ashford Town Parish - C of E!

There will also be a simple, said traditional service of Holy Communion at 8am at St Mary's.
