STARTING THIS WEEK ON THURSDAY 10 SEPTEMBER AT 7:30PM IN ASHBY

Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith.

It includes a meal, a short video and time to talk and listen to others - and is particularly designed for those who wouldn’t describe themselves as Christians.

WHAT’S NEW?

This term, alongside those who don’t have a Christian faith, we will be also welcoming people who are fairly new to, or returning to faith and are wanting to cover - or rediscover - the basics of Christianity.

SO, WHO IS ALPHA FOR?

Alpha might be for you, if ANY of the following resonate:

⭐️ You’re spiritually curious - and interested in exploring Christianity for the first time, or the first time in a long time - but are not currently part of a local Christian church.

⭐️ You believe there is a God - and might describe yourself as a Christian - but you’re not really sure what you mean by that.

⭐️ You’ve begun exploring Christianity online - perhaps through YouTube, Social Media, or listening to podcasts - but are interested in meeting up with local Christians in Ashby.

⭐️ You had a Christian faith earlier in life (perhaps as a child, teen, or as an adult) and over time, you’ve drifted away, but you’re finding yourself wondering if there’s a way to reconnect.

⭐️ You are already coming along to church at Holy Trinity, but are new to faith, or returning to faith and are wanting to cover the basics of Christianity with others.

If any of these are true for you - there’s a seat for you this term at Alpha.

Wondering if there is more to life than this?

Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith.

It’s for the curious, the doubtful, the wondering - and the intrigued.

Last year, over 2 million people around the world tried Alpha, with 10,000 courses run in the UK.

Alpha is designed for anyone who wouldn't describe themselves as having a Christian faith - but is interested in exploring Christianity, perhaps for the first time, or the first time in a long time.

Each evening starts with a meal, followed by a short video and time to talk and listen to others in an open, friendly environment.

You’ll have a chance to share your thoughts and hear what others think. You can say anything you like, or nothing at all.

You're welcome - no matter what your background or beliefs are. It's free - and there's no pressure to come back.

Alpha in Ashby is being co-hosted by Holy Trinity, Ashby-de-la-Zouch and our new church plant Fig Tree Church

It’s been super hot again this week 🥵 but we’re excited to share more flowers with our community this weekend.

This month, think plenty of snapdragons and fennel and the first of our beautiful dahlias!

We’d love to invite you to put together a couple of jam jars with us tomorrow morning - one to take home and enjoy - and one to give away to someone else.
