It was so good to be all back together again yesterday, worshipping together and celebrating two baptisms at our monthly

Next Sunday we return to our morning and afternoon service pattern. We look forward to welcoming you.

We are hiring for a church administrator who could spend a few hours a week helping keep the everyday life of SPD and St Tim’s running smoothly.

It’s a wonderfully varied role supporting our church team, keeping things organised and on track, helping us communicate with our parish, our church community and responding to enquiries.

You don’t need to have worked for a church before as we will help you understand what needs to be done but we would also welcome someone who brings their own ideas about how to shape the role.

Will September be the start of something new for you?

We’re looking for someone with a heart for working with children, young people and their families, who’s ready to lead our brilliant SPD Kids & Youth - St Paul's Daybrook team at St Paul's Daybrook

This September we will celebrate 5 years of growing this area of our mission at St Paul’s and now with 25 regular attendees to our weekly groups aged from 1 to 18 years old, we’re excited to be joined by someone who can lead the next phase of growing these young disciples of Christ, connecting with local families in our parish and connect school and who can bring the energy, excitement and ideas to grow this area of our outreach even more.

For our dear friends, young people and their families who are receiving results today.

📖 1 Corinthians 7:17 puts it simply…where you are right now, whatever you have, that's the vibrant place God has given you to be alive in.

Results day is here. 🎉
However it goes today, celebrate!!!! because God is right there with you. Celebrate the effort, the courage, the growth, the focus, the determination and the person you've become getting here. And then trust that the God who got you this far isn't done leading you forward.
You are exactly where you need to be to take your next step. 💛

For our young people and families getting results today…
However it goes…relief, excitement, disappointment, or all of it at once…that feeling is all real and all yours.

But here's something to consider and hold onto alongside it:

“For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which he prepared in advance for us to do." — Ephesians 2:10

Today's results are one part of your story, there is lots more to come. Whatever they say, the plan for your life is still yours, and God's still walking it with you.

Wherever today takes you, you are held, you are known, you are loved. Walk in it. 💛

🙏 Sending off our SPD Kids & Youth - St Paul's Daybrook to Dreaming the Impossible!

With tents, sleeping bags, fancy dress, full car boots and open hearts, we dropped off some of our young people and leaders for a weekend at the Dreaming the Impossible youth event, and we couldn't be more excited for them!

We were so excited we forgot to take pictures of the set off 🫣

Please do join us in praying these coming days…
🤩That they have an amazing time together, making new friends and growing deeper in their friendship with God

🙌🏻For our brilliant leaders and friends who've taken them…that they'd feel supported, and be able to share their hearts, faith and expectation with the young people this weekend

🤍That every young person there would know just how much they are already everything they're created to be

🫶🏻That they'd all be kept safe, and feel truly loved…by God, and by all of us back home cheering them on

We can't wait to hear all about it. Go well! 💛
