PRAYER POINTS
• Sun 6th Sep: Please pray for the leaders of our Sunday Club, Rock Solid, Bible Class and Youth Fellowship as those ministries resume today. And pray for the preparation of the hearts of the children and young people to receive God’s Word and that young in life they may come to follow the Saviour.
• Mon 7th Sep: Continue to give thanks for God’s blessing on the work of our fundraising committee as they lead us in raising funds for the new halls. Ask for God’s wisdom for them as they meet tonight to make plans for the months ahead.
• Tuesday 8th Sep: Our Girls’ Brigade gets up and running again tonight. Please cover in prayer all our officers, sub-officers and helpers and pray that the girls who come will be blessed in this new year of Girls’ Brigade and that they may seek, serve and follow Jesus Christ.
• Wed 9th Sep: Give thanks for the Narnia camp run by our EMF partner church in Moldova in August. 76 young people came. Pray that God would continue to work in each of their hearts. Remember also Mihai’s wife Irina as she recovers from surgery.
• Thur 10th Sep: Remember in prayer our neighbouring congregations of Tullyallen and Mountnorris and their minister, the Rev Nigel Reid, as with the session and their leaders they enter a new church year of gospel ministry beside us. Especially mention in prayer their harvest mission that God would prepare the ground of people’s hearts for the Gospel.
• Fri 11th Sep: Please pray for the recommencement of our Friday Bible Club tonight. Pray for our new and returning leaders and children and ask our generous Father that this will be a powerful ministry for connecting with children from the wider community.
• Sat 12th Sep: Fuse Youth Club has its first regular night in the Small Memorial Hall tonight. Pray that the new launch will go well and that Fuse will quickly become the place to be on a Saturday night (on the nights when it is on) for secondary-age young people. Pray for the one who will be bringing an epilogue tonight that God would bless his Word to the young peoples’ lives.
• Sun 13th Sep: Ask God to prepare all our hearts to receive his Word on this, his day. Ask for a greater hunger in the hearts of all his people to worship him and to serve him. Pray for our evening service, the first of this year, that it will be well attended. And pray for those who will be taking part as we focus on some of our organisations as well as hear from God’s Word on the subject of prayer.
