📌Noeleen’s Helping Hands Christmas Family Box Appeal – Noeleen’s Helping Hands have decided that this year again they will provide family boxes for Romania to be given out to families in time for Christmas. They hope to make up these family boxes and to that end they respectfully ask for our assistance with the donation of new items for the boxes such as: Hat, scarf, gloves, underwear, socks, small blankets, baby items such as nappies, wipes, baby bottles, bibs, clothing, toys etc, colouring books and pencils, school supplies such as notebooks, pencils, pens, sharpeners, rubbers, pencil cases etc, facecloths, sponge, hand towels, soap, small shower gel, toothpaste, toothbrush, small shampoo, small deodorant, small games and toys, outdoor toys such as Frisbee, items suitable for teenagers and household items such as sewing kits, wool, pegs, dishcloths, tea towels etc.
Monetary donations to cover transport costs can also be made. Last year, it cost the charity almost £7,000 to send the aid consignment.
You can leave donations in the Lecture Hall on Tuesday mornings between 10am and 12pm, or bring them to church no later than Sun 18th Oct. There is a marked box in the porch.

📌General Consent Form – Our general consent form covers all our organisations except Girls’ Brigade, Friday Bible Club and FUSE (which each have their own to be completed). Parents of children or young people (including those serving as helpers) up until the age of 18 attending Sunday Club, Rock Solid, Bible Class or Youth Fellowship must complete a form per child for attendance to be permitted. 📌AsiaLink Trip: Trevor and Norman are travelling with AsiaLink to south-east Asia in October on a self-funded trip. Should you feel led to make a contribute towards the projects that will be visited and supported on the trip, you can do so using one of the blank envelopes in your FWO pack or any blank envelope. Just write AsiaLink on the front and place donations on the collection plate during September. The trip commences on Saturday 3rd October. A prayer diary for the trip is available in the porch in the Upper.

Monetary donations to cover transport costs can also be made. Last year, it cost the charity almost £7,000 to send the aid consignment.
You can leave donations in the Lecture Hall on Tuesday mornings between 10am and 12pm, or bring them to church no later than Sun 18th Oct. There is a marked box in the porch.

📌General Consent Form – Our general consent form covers all our organisations except Girls’ Brigade, Friday Bible Club and FUSE (which each have their own to be completed). Parents of children or young people (including those serving as helpers) up until the age of 18 attending Sunday Club, Rock Solid, Bible Class or Youth Fellowship must complete a form per child for attendance to be permitted. • Let’s pray for Congo Initiative as they serve the Lord in the Democratic Republic of Congo
- The government has closed universities in areas controlled by rebel groups. Pray for the students and staff who have lost their education or their jobs.
- Pray for pastors as they serve their congregations and point people to Christ.
- Pray for an end to violence throughout the country.
• Remember to pray for the Monsoon AsiaLink team that Trevor and Norman are part of as they depart this Saturday.
- Pray for the team’s health, unity, and protection throughout.
- Pray for the safe delivery of the Bibles and literature being carried.
- Pray for the interpreters that they will be able to understand us and accurately translate the talks during the middle weekend of camp ministry.

LOOKING AHEAD

📌Opportunity to serve: We are recruiting for the media team who manage the screens and stream during our church services. If you are available to serve on a rota basis, please contact Norman. Training will be provided.

📌AsiaLink Trip: Trevor and Norman are travelling with AsiaLink to south-east Asia in October on a self-funded trip. Should you feel led to make a contribute towards the projects that will be visited and supported on the trip, you can do so using one of the blank envelopes in your FWO pack or any blank envelope. Just write AsiaLink on the front and place donations on the collection plate during September. The trip commences on Saturday 3rd October. A prayer diary for the trip is available in the porch in the Upper.
