We’re delighted that Archbishop John will be ordaining two Ordained Local Ministers as Priests/Presbyters on 21st June - Revd Sonya Barnes and Revd Wayne Hawthorne.

Just a reminder, in case that terminology is a little strange to you – an Ordained Local Minister (OLM) is ordained by our church to serve in a particular locality alongside a Rector. He or she is self-supporting, which means the clergyperson has a separate source of income and does not receive a stipend.

The Ordination Service will be on Sunday 21st June at 3:15pm in St Patrick's Cathedral, Armagh. It is an exceptionally holy and joyful occasion.

This week and next, we will be giving a short pen-picture of each of them. This week it's Sonya's turn.
