Today I've been thinking about Covid 19 and the fear that it's causing. Fear can come in many ways the perceived and physical fear. Perceived fear is the the what ifs of life. Physical fear is the if I fall off the cliff might die.

Covid has brought both of these fears out, the mental what ifs. The isolation and quite. But what if I told you we should not look on this as fear but opportunity. Jesus was no stranger to isolation. The Bible tells us that he want out into the desert for 40 days and nights. Matthew 4:1-11. He was tried and tempted, but he over came the devil though scripture. This could be used as a time of reflection, of study learning God's word and prayer.

Although we struggle to meat as a church traditionally due to the physical risks and fears. We are blessed to live in a day of communication.

As I close I know so many of you are struggling but say strong. The Bible tells us over 300 times that God is with us. We only have to look at Matthew 8 23 - 27. The disciples where afraid for there lives the storms where going to sink the ship. Yet we find Jesus sleeping in the back. He's not worried about the what ifs or the physical risks. He's merely resting, the disciples should have seen Jesus as a comfort but instead panic and fear overtook them. They woke him and Jesus calmed the storm.

If you have Jesus in your boat don't panic, don't be afraid. Simply look to him and find your comfort and rest.

Im always here to pray and talk,

God Bless

The cross shows such mercy for the fallen man. But Jesus rising from the grave shows power and new life.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead

Jesus answered them, “Do you finally believe? In fact, you’re about to make a run for it—saving your own skins and abandoning me. But I’m not abandoned. The Father is with me. I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I’ve conquered the world.”
John 16:33 MSG

When your life is falling apart and darkness is creeping in. What do we do? Run away? Lie? Hurt the people we love? If so then stop it! We must focus on Jesus and stand firm against this storm. You might feel like your drowning but Jesus went through a lot more than us to prove that He loves us and we need to do the same. So fix your eyes on Him and pray. Allow Him to walk with you and ride this storm together.

You are loved so much. Never give up on Him because He will never give up on you. Ask him for the answers you need and the reassurance that you are not alone. You have never been on your own you have just forgotten to let him into your life in the midst of this storm.

So today you must fix your eyes on Jesus, allow Him to walk with you and to seek Him through everything that you do. I can assure He is there.
