Good Friday Service -7pm all Welcome 🙏



Good Friday is the special day when we remember Jesus’ crucifixion and death at Calvary.

Many churches hold special three-hour services, often from noon to 3 pm, reflecting the hours Jesus hung on the cross. 🙏

SANCTUARY WILL BE OPEN ON FRIDAY 3RD APRIL 11:45-3:15 FOR A TIME OF QUIET REFLECTION, PRAYER, SCRIPTURE AND LOOKING AT SOME OF THE PEOPLE WHO WERE AT THE CROSS.

 Holy Thursday

Maundy Thursday, also called Holy Thursday, recalls the events that happened the next day after the traditional Passover meal. Maundy Thursday took place in the Upper Room between Jesus and His disciples (John 13-14). It marks when Jesus was betrayed by Judas for thirty pieces of Silver. However, many other significant events happened, as well. The gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke reveal how Jesus Christ instituted the Lord’s Supper (holy communion) for the first time. That life-altering table of forgiveness laid out for us by the Son of God.🙏

Join us as we mark World Cancer Day in prayer 🙏

Gracious and loving God,
We come before You on this World Cancer Awareness Day, trusting in Your unfailing mercy and steadfast love.

We lift to You all who are living with cancer—those newly diagnosed, those in treatment, those in remission, and those nearing the end of their earthly journey.

Surround them with Your peace, strengthen them with Your presence, and remind them that nothing can separate them from Your love.

We pray for families, friends, and caregivers who walk this difficult road alongside their loved ones.

Grant them patience, courage, and comfort when the days are long and the nights are hard. Uphold them with hope when tiredness and fear take hold.

Bless doctors, nurses, researchers, and all who work to bring healing and care. Guide their hands, renew their spirits, and deepen their compassion.

As people called to live out our faith through love, help us to be a community of prayer, support, and action—bearing one another’s burdens and sharing signs of Your grace.

Through Jesus Christ, our healer and hope.
Amen.
