🌟 HAPPY CHRISTMAS! 🎄

On the last day of our reading plan we are back in 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟴:𝟯𝟭-𝟯𝟵

Here we have a beautiful reminder of how we are secure in Christ once we trust Him, NOTHING can separate us from Him and what better encouragement do we have as we come to Christmas day?! 🥹

We don't just celebrate His birth today, we give God thanks that He gave everything so that we could know Him, for not just this moment, but for all of eternity!

We hope and pray that these past 25days in God's Word have encouraged you as you live in this challenging world, comforted you in the unexplainable way only God can, challenged you to live and love more like Jesus and given you a greater love for and desire to know His Word 💕

Have a lovely Christmas and enjoy time with family and friends. For those finding Christmas hard this year, we are praying for you, that you'd know God's closeness and comfort 🙏🏽

Our reading today in 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟴:𝟭-𝟭𝟭 tells us of the reason Jesus came to earth as a man 👣

God is love, but He is also righteous and just, so our sin needs to be paid for - no longer do we need to offer sacrifices according to the law but this was done once for all by Jesus on the cross!

The first verse of Romans 8 is a beautiful reminder for all who trust Christ as Saviour - maybe try and commit it to memory as an encouraging reminder 🫶🏼

Now that we've read of how Jesus' arrival was foretold, fulfilled and we have seen who He is, let's take it back to where we started on Dec 2nd...why did He come? 🧐

𝟭 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝟰:𝟳-𝟭𝟲 tells us God sent His Son to be "the Saviour of the world" and "so that we might live through Him" 🤍 (what else?)

Our passage today also explains that once we are saved/ have trusted Jesus Christ as our Saviour, we will have the Holy Spirit dwelling within us!

Sometimes we may think how amazing it would have been to see Jesus in person back in those days, but what an immense blessing it is to have the Spirit living within us, and that one day we will see our Lord Jesus face to face in Heaven? 👀

It's Christmas week! 🎄

We hope you are looking forward to some relaxing time over the next couple of weeks, spent with friends and family, and some good food 🤤

But we hope and pray most of all that you spend time remembering the Lord Jesus Christ and all that His birth means.

This past week we have been looking at who Jesus is, the question we have after this week...who is He to you? 🤔

21/12/2024

Our reading today in 𝗛𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝟭𝟯:𝟱-𝟴 tells us why we can depend on Jesus - He never changes!

So often in this world we are reminded of how undependable people can be, but Jesus is different ✨

Because He never changes we can rest assured that the characteristics we've been reading about this week will forever be true about Him:
- He is God
- He is eternal
- He came as a man
- He is sinless
- He is our Mediator
- He never leaves us (v5 of today's reading)
