🌟 A WARM WELCOME AWAITS AT ANTRIM FPC SUNDAY SCHOOL! 🌟

We would love to welcome children and young people from across the Antrim area to join us for a brand-new year of Sunday School!

Beginning Sunday 13th September, we meet each Sunday from 10.00–11.00am at Antrim Free Presbyterian Church, Parkhall Road.

There will be:

🎶 Lively singing�📖 Bible stories and lessons�🎨 Quizzes, activities and plenty of fun�😊 Friendly teachers and a warm welcome� An opportunity to learn about Jesus and His love

Children from nursery age right through to Year 10 are very welcome—whether they have been to Sunday School before or have never set foot inside a church. We would be delighted to see them!

𝗡𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 - 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲
News reports from Nepal are heartbreaking, with over 700 dead, 3,000 missing and 10,000 families with no homes. There are now over 20,000 security forces in the border region, working to try to find and rescue any survivors. The damage to roads and bridges, together with the difficult terrain make these efforts very difficult. There are fears of further flooding and this makes the recovery work more challenging.

We have received reports from our partners in FPC Nepal and other friends who work there. While there are no FPC Churches in the border region, there are several churches further down the river towards Chitwan. Sadly it is now reported that several people from those churches, who were working in the affected area, are now reported missing.

Sadly many of the other churches in the area have been devastated – in both the Rashuwa and Nuwakot areas, it has been reported that over 100 believers are dead or missing from 15-20 churches, and many of the church buildings have been damaged or destroyed.

At this stage it is not possible to travel to the affected areas so our partners are preparing for aid distribution as soon as possible and their desire is to distribute relief to those who have been directly impacted by this disaster.

Please pray for those who have lost loved ones, those who are waiting to hear from family members who are missing and those who have been displaced by this disaster. Pray for the rescue workers and pray for the country as a whole at this very difficult time.

📸 A Step Back in Time — 1997

We came across this old photograph recently, taken almost 30 years ago in 1997, and thought it was worth sharing.

Many familiar faces and plenty of memories! It is amazing how quickly the years pass and how much changes — and yet we are thankful for the Lord’s faithfulness through every generation.

What a blessed night at the close of our youth and kids week, we are thankful to the Lord for all His kindnesses to us as a church. May the kingdom come in mighty power and glory.

✨ 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 ✨

After a super busy week with Kings & Queens of the Bible (Summer Bible Club 2026) and MADE FOR MORE (Summer Youth Week), we would love for you to join us for the final night of these two brilliant meetings.

Our 11:30am service will be held at Antrim FPC, dealing with the subject of how we can become weary in our work for God, but not weary of it. Exodus 18 will be our passage for the morning.

Our 6:30pm service will be held at Parkhall Integrated College. We will be having the children from this past week’s Bible Club taking part, as well as the young people. Then, Sam Oduor will be along to bring a word of testimony of how God sustained him during a dark period of his life. He will tell us of how God brought him out of the depths of depression, and how he found hope in Him.
Supper will be served after the evening service.

Please pray for these meetings - for the week of meetings that have now finished, and that these children and young people will be back to our church to worship with us.
