π Prayer Focus: Our Special Projects at Home & Overseas ππ
This week, we invite you to join us in praying for our two Special Projects for 2026-2027, both seeking to bring the hope of Christ to children and families, both locally and around the world.
Overseas Project | Bible Society of Malawi
Many families in rural Malawi do not own a Bible and rarely have the opportunity to read God's Word together. Through this project, families receive Scripture Engagement Packs containing a Bible, a children's Bible, and daily reading guides to help them grow in faith together.
Please pray: π That these resources will strengthen families and deepen faith in homes across Malawi. π§ That children will come to know and love Jesus as they hear Scripture in their own language. π¨βπ©βπ§ That parents and guardians will have confidence to lead family Bible times. π± That lasting faith will be established for future generations. π For the Bible Society of Malawi and Scripture Union as they serve families through this work.
Home Project | TLG (Transforming Lives for Good)
TLG exists to bring "hope and a future" to children and families facing significant challenges across the UK. Through partnerships with local churches, they provide practical support through programmes such as Early Intervention coaching and Make Lunch, helping children and families experience care, community, and hope.
Please pray: π That TLG will have many opportunities to share their vision and expertise. π€ That churches will be equipped and empowered to support children and families in their communities. β¨ That women and others within our church family will be inspired to serve where God has placed them. ποΈ That the Holy Spirit will lead us to reach out with the hope of Christ to those who need it most. π That children and families across our communities will experience true "hope and a future."
Our goal is to raise Β£15,000 to support each of these life changing ministries and nurture faith from generation to generation.
As we pray for these projects, may we remember the difference God's people can make when they respond with faith, compassion, and generosity.
