Disobedience to GOD part 3

INDUCTION

My family Jesus Christ , I would like to to on the areas of disobeying GOD .
How it could affect our lives and friends and family and walk with Jesus in different ways .

Yes I can say in my life I have disobedient to GOD when I have fully done what he wants me to do .

I have seen the consequences of it tiny or in huge ways .

HERE ARE SOME CHARACTERS IN THE BIBLE WHO DISOBEY GOD

1 JONAH = he disobeyed GOD orders to speak to Nineveh he did not he went opposite way to tarshish but GOD push over board In boat because of it causing danger to other and ended in whale belly .

2 PETER = denied Jesus three time at fire when he was ask .

3 KING SAUL = made sacrifice when GOD wants he to obey him and wait for Samuel but he didn’t lost his throne to David .

AREAS IN OUR LIVES WE NEED CHANGE .

We all to have close look In our lives and how we are living and seeing effects it on having on others .

See if we have gone off track on wrong where should gone off path to different way then god wanted .

We need to ask GOD to show us where In our heart and their deep roots need out .

Here are some scriptures to help with areas in your life .

1 Deuteronomy 11:26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse–
Deuteronomy 11:27 The blessing if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you this day;
Deuteronomy 11:28 And the curse if you will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you this day to go after other gods, which you have not known.
Deuteronomy 11:29 And when the Lord your God has brought you into the land which you go to possess, you shall set the blessing on Mount Gerizim and the curse on Mount Ebal. [Josh. 8:33.]
Deuteronomy 11:30 Are they not beyond the Jordan, west of the road, where the sun goes down, in the land of the Canaanites living in the Arabah opposite Gilgal, beside the oaks or terebinths of Moreh?
Deuteronomy 11:31 For you are to cross over the Jordan to go in to possess the land which the Lord your God gives you, and you shall possess it and live in it.
Deuteronomy 11:32 And you shall be watchful to do all the statutes and ordinances which I set before you this day.

2 1 Samuel 15:22 Samuel said, Has the Lord as great a delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

3 John 14:15 If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.

4 James 1:22 But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth].

5 1 John 5:3 For the [true] love of God is this: that we do His commands [keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and teaching]. And these orders of His are not irksome (burdensome, oppressive, or grievous).

THE PRICE WE PAY FOR OUR MISTAKES

When we disobey GOD by not doing what he wants us to do.
It has effects our life in big way and others peoples to .
Make damages to family members and friends that will not mend .
It could give Satan bit to get into life by not closing that area of life completely.
He could lead down wrong path to more destructive things .
Lead you even more ways from GOD.

REPENTANCE AND ASKING FORGIVENESS.

Soon as you see that you have disobeying GOD quickly and ask forgiveness.
Repent of it and ask him is there root of this.
Ask him to show where you need to change.
Let Jesus in that area and to close it completely .
From satan using it get into your life through there .

HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF PEOPLE IN THE BIBLE DISOBEYING AND REPENCE.

1 KING DAVID =he disobeyed GOD sleeping with Uriah's wife and putting him fromt battle to get killed. He lost his son through it and repentance after.
He had to pay a contentless for it.

2 PRODIGAL SON = he spent all his father's money and squandered it had no left. Then he came to ask Father for forgiveness and got a banquet.

3 PETER =he denied Jesus three times when people asked if knew him.
He felt ashamed and wept over it .
When Jesus rose from the grave Peter asked Jesus to forgive him and used powerfully for GOD.

4 PAUL = he persecuted the Christians and got papers to do it and watched people stone Stephen.

Then Jesus came to Paul on Damascus why are persecution me and blinded him and Paul repented to Jesus and came mighty vessel for GOD.

HOW TO BREAK OLD HABITS

I would like to give some steps to break away from old habits and disobeyed GOD.
To help you walk in fullness of GOD has for your live .

1 most important step give GOD FULL control over life and everything by surrendering all to him .

2 pray and ask GOD to show you where there is disobedience and areas that need changing and roots to .
And help you to plant positive and things bring blessing and obey him.

3 Study the word of GOD and find Scripture you can meditate on to help you with that area in your life.

4 Ask the Holy Spirit to help you. And guide though changes you in your life .

5 Ask your church and friends to pray with you and support you and love and encourage you .

GOD LOVED YOU NO MATTER WHAT

GOD LOVES YOU SO MUCH THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON FOR YOU .
TO DIE ON THE CROSS BRING YOU BACK TO HIM.

HIS LOVE FOR YOU WILL NEVER CHANGE .
YOU ARE PRECIOUS TO HIM AND HE WILL BE WITH YOU ALWAYS,
HE WILL PUT RIGHT PEOPLE TO HELP YOU THROUGH THIS.

SEEING THE BLESSING THROUGH THE CHANGE

As you change in areas of life you come more like Christ .
You will grow from glory to glory.
And being bright light in dark, World .
Being living represented of Jesus to others .
To lead them to Jesus .

HERE ARE SOME SCRIPTURES TO HELP AND ENCOURAGE YOU.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts, and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

Joel 2:12 Therefore also now, says the Lord, turn and keep on coming to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning [until every hindrance is removed and the broken fellowship is restored].

James 4:8 Come close to God and He will come close to you. [Recognize that you are] sinners, get your soiled hands clean; [realize that you have been disloyal] wavering individuals with divided interests, and purify your hearts [of your spiritual adultery].

PRAYER

I PRAY IN JESUS NAME THAT YOU GOD HELP THEM.
TO SHOW THEM WHERE THEY NEED TO CHANGE AREA IN THERE LIVE.
TO GIVE YOU AREAS WHERE THEY HAVE BEFORE.
HELP THEM UPROOT THINGS SHOULDNT BE THERE
AND ENCOURAGE AND LOVE AND SUPPORT AND TO PUT THINGS GOOD .
AND LET JESUS FIMSH WORK IN THAT AREA AND PLEAD BLOOD OVER IT .
SHUT THE COMPLETEY THAT SATAN HAS NOT GOT WAY IN
I REBUKE AND COMMAND WHAT HOLD SATAN HAS OVER YOU TO BE BROKEN OFF AND RELEASE THEM FROM IT AMEN.

Getting out of the comfort zone part 2

INTRODUCTION

To my family in Christ Jesus. I would like to speak on the area of getting out of you comfort zone and safety.

I would like to help you in all ways to help you to see the bigger pic what GOD has planed for your life .

Beyond the walls and saftey of where you are now .

THEESE ARE SCRIPTUURES TO ENCOURAGE AMD HELP YOU .

Romans 8:17 And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory.
Romans 8:28 We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.
Romans 8:37 Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.

Isaiah 40:29 He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound]. [II Cor. 12:9.]
Isaiah 40:30 Even youths shall faint and be weary, and [selected] young men shall feebly stumble and fall exhausted;
Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. [Heb. 12:1-3.]

Hebrews 13:5 Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!] [Josh. 1:5.]

SAFETY OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE

Yes we all, do like our safety and areas that we know and feel safe .
Because we know that we are secure and familiar place and nothing to hard .
But living in same area or job and place it can come dry or dead to you .
That means GOD has made it that way so he move forward and give you more than that he has planned for you .

HERE ARE SOME EXPLAMES people IN BIBLE STEP OUT IN FAITH

DANIEL = He got captured by Babylons and away from his homeland .
Face trials and test from people there and want to go down there customs .
He did not and he was put in prison and fed lions but his GOD SAVED HIM.

ESTHER = Her uncle wanted her to go as Queen as Persians and was away from her people and family and had to go through things to pass .
She step out in faith by going to King with being asked to save her family .

PAUL = He was Pharisees who was persecuted the Christians and put lots to death and in prison. He was one who stood crowd stone Stephen.

On the way to Damascus Paul saw vision. It was Jesus who blinded him and transformed him to be Christian and speak on behalf of Jesus.

FACING THE CHANGES YOUR LIFE

Everyone doesn't like facing new things in their life or things that are too challenging.
That is new to us and takes us out of our similarities and moving away from family and friends and Jobs.

Like GOD said to JOSHUA in the Bible to be strong and courageous and bold and trust him completely.

God is with you every step of the way.
When you only see one set of footprints he carried you through.
He will put his angels around you.

MOVING TO WHAT GOD HAS PLANNED FOR YOU.

GOD might just ask you to do small things for him.
If you can be trusted with little to start with.
Then he will move you to something a bit bigger.

I can tell you when God called me to move to Lake District it was hard work and
frustrating but I had patience and it took 4 years to get here.
My journey here is still hard and waiting on God to get me flat.
But I never regret it and I love this place and people are really nice .

When you get time go find quiet place to seek God and ask him what he wants you to do .
Then go get your friends to prayer and support you .
Get ones edify and build yourself up.

God loves you and he just wants the best for you.

RENEWING YOUR MIND

AS YOU SEE IN ROMANS 12;1-2 we should renew our minds on GOD WORD not on worldly ways and thinking.

As it says in Colossians 3.2 we should be thinking about things above heavily things not of worldly ways because are not of this world.

ACCEPTING DISCOMFORT

As you read in Bible MATTEW 28:19-20 them to be disciples to bring people to Jesus and leave normal job as fisherman and family behinds. .

God will not let you go more than you cope with or take..

We should trust God and give him all and see where he takes you.
We can say I know it going to hard and tough but I am still going to do it
God. Are with me and you put right people to help .

Remember you are not alone to do this you have family in Christ here and we help with what way we can and contact us here and pray and support and encourage and love.

TIME TO TAKE ACTION AND FOLLOW GOD

I believe in you and that you can do this .
You are mighty warriors for GOD .
Believe in your self and stop doubting it .
Don’t listen to other people’s think or say .
Or try to stop you. .
Take tiny step faith see where it leads you,and GOD GOT PLANNED FOR YOU,.

PRAYER

I PRAY IN JESUS NAME THAT GOD YOU HELP EVERYONE WHO READS THIS TO TKE STEP OF FAITH AMD GET OUT COMFORT ZONE AND FOLLOWS YOU MORE AMD TO SEE WHAT YOU HAVE PLANED FOR THEM AND GUIDE THEM AND SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT AND PUT DEVINE APPOINTMENTS FOR THEM AND RIGHT PATH AND PEOPLE AND BE WITH THEM EVERY STEP OF WAY .

Micah 6:15 You shall sow but not reap; you shall tread olives but not anoint yourselves with oil, and [you shall extract juice from] the grapes but not drink the wine.
Micah 6:16 For the statutes of [idolatrous] Omri you have kept, and all the works of the house of [wicked] Ahab, and you walk in their counsels. Therefore I will make you a desolation and an astonishment and your [city's] inhabitants a hissing, and you shall bear the reproach and scorn of My people.

2 Thessalonians 3:6 Now we charge you, brethren, in the name and on the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) that you withdraw and keep away from every brother (fellow believer) who is slack in the performance of duty and is disorderly, living as a shirker and not walking in accord with the traditions and instructions that you have received from us.
2 Thessalonians 3:7 For you yourselves know how it is necessary to imitate our example, for we were not disorderly or shirking of duty when we were with you [we were not idle].
2 Thessalonians 3:8 Nor did we eat anyone's bread without paying for it, but with toil and struggle we worked night and day, that we might not be a burden or impose on any of you [for our support].

2 Thessalonians 3:12 Now we charge and exhort such persons [as ministers in Him exhorting those] in the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) that they work in quietness and earn their own food and other necessities.
2 Thessalonians 3:13 And as for you, brethren, do not become weary or lose heart in doing right [but continue in well-doing without weakening].
2 Thessalonians 3:14 But if anyone [in the church] refuses to obey what we say in this letter, take note of that person and do not associate with him, so that he may be ashamed.
2 Thessalonians 3:15 Do not regard him as an enemy, but simply admonish and warn him as [being still] a brother.
2 Thessalonians 3:16 Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace (the peace of His kingdom) at all times and in all ways [under all circumstances and conditions, whatever comes]. The Lord [be] with you all.
2 Thessalonians 3:17 I, Paul, write you this final greeting with my own hand. This is the mark and sign [that it is not a forgery] in every letter of mine. It is the way I write [my handwriting and signature].

Hosea 2:2 Plead with your mother [your nation]; plead, for she is not My wife and I am not her Husband; [plead] that she put away her [marks of] harlotry from her face and her adulteries from between her breasts, [Isa. 50:1.]
Hosea 2:3 Lest I strip her naked and make her as in the day she was born, and make her as a wilderness and set her like a parched land and slay her with thirst.
Hosea 2:4 Yes, for her children I will have no love nor pity nor mercy, for they are the children of harlotry.
Hosea 2:5 For their mother has played the harlot; she who conceived them has done shamefully, for she said, I will go after my lovers that give me my food and my water, my wool and my flax, my oil and my refreshing drinks.

Hosea 2:11 I will also cause to cease all her mirth, her feastmaking, her New Moons, her Sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts and appointed festive assemblies.
Hosea 2:12 And I will lay waste and destroy her vines and her fig trees of which she has said, These are my reward or loose woman's hire that my lovers have given me; and I will make [her plantations] an inaccessible forest, and the wild beasts of the open country shall eat them.
Hosea 2:13 And I will visit [punishment] upon her for the feast days of the Baals, when she burned incense to them and decked herself with her earrings and nose rings and her jewelry and went after her lovers and forgot Me, says the Lord.
Hosea 2:14 Therefore, behold, I will allure her [Israel] and bring her into the wilderness, and I will speak tenderly and to her heart.
Hosea 2:15 There I will give her her vineyards and make the Valley of Achor [troubling] to be for her a door of hope and expectation. And she shall sing there and respond as in the days of her youth and as at the time when she came up out of the land of Egypt. [Exod. 15:2; Josh. 7:24-26.]
Hosea 2:16 And it shall be in that day, says the Lord, that you will call Me Ishi [my Husband], and you shall no more call Me Baali [my Baal].
Hosea 2:17 For I will take away the names of Baalim [the Baals] out of her mouth, and they shall no more be mentioned or seriously remembered by their name.
Hosea 2:18 And in that day will I make a covenant for Israel with the living creatures of the open country and with the birds of the heavens and with the creeping things of the ground. And I will break the bow and the sword and [abolish battle equipment and] conflict out of the land and will make you lie down safely.
Hosea 2:19 And I will betroth you to Me forever; yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and justice, in steadfast love, and in mercy.
Hosea 2:20 I will even betroth you to Me in stability and in faithfulness, and you shall know (recognize, be acquainted with, appreciate, give heed to, and cherish) the Lord.
Hosea 2:21 And in that day I will respond, says the Lord; I will respond to the heavens [which ask for rain to pour on the earth], and they shall respond to the earth [which begs for the rain it needs],
Hosea 2:22 And the earth shall respond to the grain and the wine and the oil [which beseech it to bring them forth], and these shall respond to Jezreel [restored Israel, who prays for a supply of them].
Hosea 2:23 And I will sow her for Myself anew in the land, and I will have love, pity, and mercy for her who had not obtained love, pity, and mercy; and I will say to those who were not My people, You are My people, and they shall say, You are my God! [I Pet. 2:9, 10.]

Philippians 4:1 THEREFORE, MY brethren, whom I love and yearn to see, my delight and crown (wreath of victory), thus stand firm in the Lord, my beloved.
Philippians 4:2 I entreat and advise Euodia and I entreat and advise Syntyche to agree and to work in harmony in the Lord.
Philippians 4:3 And I exhort you too, [my] genuine yokefellow, help these [two women to keep on cooperating], for they have toiled along with me in [the spreading of] the good news (the Gospel), as have Clement and the rest of my fellow workers whose names are in the Book of Life.
Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, gladden yourselves in Him]; again I say, Rejoice! [Ps. 37:4.]
Philippians 4:5 Let all men know and perceive and recognize your unselfishness (your considerateness, your forbearing spirit). The Lord is near [He is coming soon].
Philippians 4:6 Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.
Philippians 4:7 And God's peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:8 For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].
Philippians 4:9 Practice what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and model your way of living on it, and the God of peace (of untroubled, undisturbed well-being) will be with you.
Philippians 4:10 I was made very happy in the Lord that now you have revived your interest in my welfare after so long a time; you were indeed thinking of me, but you had no opportunity to show it.
Philippians 4:11 Not that I am implying that I was in any personal want, for I have learned how to be content (satisfied to the point where I am not disturbed or disquieted) in whatever state I am.
Philippians 4:12 I know how to be abased and live humbly in straitened circumstances, and I know also how to enjoy plenty and live in abundance. I have learned in any and all circumstances the secret of facing every situation, whether well-fed or going hungry, having a sufficiency and enough to spare or going without and being in want.
Philippians 4:13 I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency].
Philippians 4:14 But it was right and commendable and noble of you to contribute for my needs and to share my difficulties with me.
Philippians 4:15 And you Philippians yourselves well know that in the early days of the Gospel ministry, when I left Macedonia, no church (assembly) entered into partnership with me and opened up [a debit and credit] account in giving and receiving except you only.
Philippians 4:16 For even in Thessalonica you sent [me contributions] for my needs, not only once but a second time.
Philippians 4:17 Not that I seek or am eager for [your] gift, but I do seek and am eager for the fruit which increases to your credit [the harvest of blessing that is accumulating to your account].
Philippians 4:18 But I have [your full payment] and more; I have everything I need and am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent me. [They are the] fragrant odor of an offering and sacrifice which God welcomes and in which He delights.
Philippians 4:19 And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:20 To our God and Father be glory forever and ever (through the endless eternities of the eternities). Amen (so be it).
Philippians 4:21 Remember me to every saint (every born-again believer) in Christ Jesus. The brethren (my associates) who are with me greet you.
Philippians 4:22 All the saints (God's consecrated ones here) wish to be remembered to you, especially those of Caesar's household.
Philippians 4:23 The grace (spiritual favor and blessing) of the Lord Jesus Christ (the Anointed One) be with your spirit. Amen (so be it).

Amos 1:1 THE WORDS of Amos, who was among the herdsmen and sheep masters of Tekoa, which he saw [in divine revelation] concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake. [Zech. 14:5.]
Amos 1:2 And he said, The Lord roars out of Zion and utters His voice from Jerusalem; then the pastures of the shepherds mourn and the top of [Mount] Carmel dries up. [Isa. 42:13; Jer. 25:30; Joel 3:16.]
Amos 1:3 Thus says the Lord: For three transgressions of Damascus [the capital of Syria] and for four [for multiplied delinquencies], I will not reverse the punishment of it or revoke My word concerning it, because they have threshed Gilead [east of the Jordan River] with iron sledges. [II Kings 10:32, 33.]
Amos 1:4 So I will send a fire [of war, conquest, and destruction] upon the house of Hazael [who killed and succeeded King Ben-hadad] which shall devour the palaces and strongholds of Ben-hadad.
Amos 1:5 I will break also the bar [of the gate] of Damascus and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven or On, and him who holds the scepter from Beth-eden; and the people of Syria [conquered by the Assyrians] shall go into exile to Kir, says the Lord. [Ezek. 30:17.]
Amos 1:6 Thus says the Lord: For three transgressions of Gaza [a city in Philistia] and for four [for multiplied delinquencies], I will not reverse the punishment of it or revoke My word concerning it, because [as slave traders] they carried away captive the whole [Jewish] population [of defenseless Judean border villages, of which none was spared, none left behind] and delivered them up to Edom [for the slave trade]. [Joel 3:6.]
Amos 1:7 So I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza which shall devour its strongholds.
Amos 1:8 And I will cut off the inhabitants from Ashdod and him who holds the scepter from Ashkelon, and I will turn My hand against Ekron; and the rest of the Philistines [in Gath and the towns dependent on these four Philistine cities] shall perish, says the Lord God. [Josh. 13:3.]
Amos 1:9 Thus says the Lord: For three transgressions of Tyre and for four [for multiplied delinquencies], I will not reverse the punishment of it or revoke My word concerning it, because they [as middlemen] delivered up a whole [Jewish] population to Edom and did not [seriously] remember their brotherly covenant. [I Kings 5:1, 12; 9:12, 13.]
Amos 1:10 So I will send a fire on the wall of Tyre which shall devour its strongholds.
Amos 1:11 Thus says the Lord: For three transgressions of Edom [descendants of Esau] and for four [for multiplied delinquencies], I will not reverse the punishment of it or revoke My word concerning it, because he pursued his brother Jacob (Israel) with the sword, corrupting his compassions and casting off all pity, and his anger tore perpetually and his wrath he kept and heeded forever.
Amos 1:12 So I will send a fire upon Teman which shall devour the strongholds of Bozrah [in Edom].
Amos 1:13 Thus says the Lord: For three transgressions of the children of Ammon [descendants of Lot] and for four [for multiplied delinquencies], I will not reverse the punishment of it or revoke My word concerning it, because [the Ammonites] have ripped up women with child in Gilead, that they might enlarge their border.
Amos 1:14 So I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah [in Ammon] and it shall devour the strongholds of it, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind;
Amos 1:15 And their king shall go into exile, he and his princes together, says the Lord.

Colossians 4:1 MASTERS, [on your part] deal with your slaves justly and fairly, knowing that also you have a Master in heaven. [Lev. 25:43, 53.]
Colossians 4:2 Be earnest and unwearied and steadfast in your prayer [life], being [both] alert and intent in [your praying] with thanksgiving.
Colossians 4:3 And at the same time pray for us also, that God may open a door to us for the Word (the Gospel), to proclaim the mystery concerning Christ (the Messiah) on account of which I am in prison;
Colossians 4:4 That I may proclaim it fully and make it clear [speak boldly and unfold that mystery], as is my duty.
Colossians 4:5 Behave yourselves wisely [living prudently and with discretion] in your relations with those of the outside world (the non-Christians), making the very most of the time and seizing (buying up) the opportunity.
Colossians 4:6 Let your speech at all times be gracious (pleasant and winsome), seasoned [as it were] with salt, [so that you may never be at a loss] to know how you ought to answer anyone [who puts a question to you].
Colossians 4:7 Tychicus will give you full information about my affairs; [he is] a much-loved brother and faithful ministering assistant and fellow servant [with us] in the Lord.
Colossians 4:8 I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know how we are faring and that he may comfort and cheer and encourage your hearts.
Colossians 4:9 And with [him is] Onesimus, [our] faithful and beloved brother, who is [one] of yourselves. They will let you know everything that has taken place here [in Rome].
Colossians 4:10 Aristarchus my fellow prisoner wishes to be remembered to you, as does Mark the relative of Barnabas. You received instructions concerning him; if he comes to you give him a [hearty] welcome.
Colossians 4:11 And [greetings also from] Jesus, who is called Justus. These [Hebrew Christians] alone of the circumcision are among my fellow workers for [the extension of] God's kingdom, and they have proved a relief and a comfort to me.
Colossians 4:12 Epaphras, who is one of yourselves, a servant of Christ Jesus, sends you greetings. [He is] always striving for you earnestly in his prayers, [pleading] that you may [as persons of ripe character and clear conviction] stand firm and mature [in spiritual growth], convinced and fully assured in everything willed by God.
Colossians 4:13 For I bear him testimony that he has labored hard in your behalf and for [the believers] in Laodicea and those in Hierapolis.
Colossians 4:14 Luke the beloved physician and Demas salute you.
Colossians 4:15 Give my greetings to the brethren at Laodicea, and to Nympha and the assembly (the church) which meets in her house.
Colossians 4:16 And when this epistle has been read before you, [see] that it is read also in the assembly (the church) of the Laodiceans, and also [see] that you yourselves in turn read the [letter that comes to you] from Laodicea.
Colossians 4:17 And say to Archippus, See that you discharge carefully [the duties of] the ministry and fulfill the stewardship which you have received in the Lord.
Colossians 4:18 I, Paul, [add this final] greeting, writing with my own hand. Remember I am still in prison and in chains. May grace (God's unmerited favor and blessing) be with you! Amen (so be it).
