☀️ EVENT CANCELLATION - MESSY CHURCH THURSDAY 25th JUNE

Due to the extreme heat weather warnings and forecast temperatures, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this week's Messy Church.

The safety and wellbeing of children, families, volunteers and staff is our priority, and we feel it is best not to meet in these conditions.

We are sorry for any disappointment and thank everyone for their understanding. We look forward to welcoming you all back at our next Messy Church gathering.

Please take care, stay cool, and look out for one another in the hot weather. 💙

It’s Volunteers’ Week 2026, so we'd like to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who gives their time and energy across Alverstoke Parish.

As a parish, we’re also a charity, and everything we do is held and supported through our Parochial Church Council (PCC) (whose members are also volunteers) from worship and outreach to safeguarding, events, admin, and all the day-to-day life of the church.

We have over 200 amazing volunteers who quietly and faithfully help make it all happen. If you’ve ever enjoyed a service, attended an event, or been part of one of our regular groups, it’s thanks to the hard work of our volunteers - both those you see and those working quietly behind the scenes.

To each and every volunteer: Your contribution is seen, valued, and and we thank God for you 💗🙏
