This Sunday we have our Cafe Church in the Ark where breakfast pastries are served from 8.45am with the service commencing at 9.15am followed by our Morning Worship in Church at 11.15am.

Note for your diary - On Sunday 28th June at 10.30am at Worcester Cathedral, Terry Palmer will be ordained Deacon as part of this year’s Petertide Ordinations before joining St Laurence Church and St Leonard's Church as Assistant Curate. Terry and his wife Jodie will also be moving to Beoley.

Everyone is warmly invited to attend the ordination service. There will also be one united service at St Laurence Church at 10.30am that morning, where we will hold Terry in our prayers as the ordinations take place.

We look forward to you joining us.

Another day of rain so we thought we would bring a bit of summer cheer and share our Summer Fun programme early. During the school holiday's we are offering two free events each week for the whole family.

Each event is not only free to attend but all activities, food and refreshments are too.

These events are held over St Leonard's and St Laurence Church, you are welcome to come to just one or all of them!

Welcome to this weeks Pews News. This week we have one act of worship on Sunday at 10.30am, this is because it is Pentecost - the birthday of the church!

To celebrate we will be joining our brothers and sisters at St Leonard's Beoley. Come and join us and hear more about Pentecost as we worship God All Together.

Please note, that there will no service at St Laurence this week, it will take place at St Leonard's, Beoley.

This Sunday we come together with St Leonard's at St Leonard's for the Pentecost service at 10.30am. Pentecost (also called Whit Sunday, Whitsunday or Whitsun) is a Christian holiday that takes place on the 49th day (50th day when inclusive counting is used) after Easter. It commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles of Jesus, Mary, and other followers of Christ, while they were in Jerusalem celebrating the Feast of Weeks, as described in the Acts of the Apostles (Acts 2:1–31). Pentecost marks the "Birthday of the Church".
