We'll have our story, songs, a time of exploration in the woods, doing our craft activity, toys, snacks & ofcourse a game too. 😊

September 1st 🌿🌳🌿

In the Methodist Church our new connexional year starts on 1st September.

In the Christian calendar, we start creationtide today until 4th October.

Here at Peckwood Forest Space we are all about celebrating the wonders of creation all year round but we'll definitely join in with some extra posts during this creationtide season 🌳🌳🌳

All of our regular activities resume - see picture 3 for everything you can get involved with 🌿

& Jess, who has been our Forest Church co-ordinator during the previous connexional year takes on her new role as Pioneer from today 🌿

We can't wait to see you all in our woods soon 💛

With August almost at it's end... Here's what's coming up in September 🍂🌳🌥

Seeds & Saplings will be back on Tuesday 8th & 22nd September. If you have a child or grandchild aged 5 & under. Come along for a fun morning in our woods. 🧸🌳🖍

Wandering and Wondering will be back on Thursday 10th & 24th September. Join Jess for a wander in the woods, followed by wondering conversations over soup at the ranch house. 🥣🌳🥾

Forest Church gathering this month is on Sunday 13th September. 🌥
This will be our first joint service, with other Christian in Rowney Green & Alvechurch. Jess, Martin & Joey will be leading worship with the theme of leaves. 🍂🌳🤗

This evening 9 of us gathered for Communion in the Woods 🍷🥖🌳

Thank you to Rev Anne for leading us.

This evening was our final Forest & Friendship of the summer holidays. But more mid week evening's gathering will follow. (Keep an eye on the page for dates, soon) This evening we had 2 new friends join us and we hope to see you both again soon. 🤗

We have really enjoyed this time together, at each of these 4 sessions. Thank you to everyone who has joined us at Forest & Friendship 🌳

We are looking forward to our final Forest & Friendship of the Summer holidays, tomorrow evening.

Bring your picnic tea, and we'll provide the rest.

This afternoon 8 of gathered together for our monthly Forest Church gathering.

We reflected on Summer, and invited Autumn in.

We sang together, and used our Peckwood liturgy.

For our activity a few people wandered in the woods reflecting on Summer & others choose to draw on the wooden pieces of their summer memories.

We read a new story & finished our time together with a hot drink and biscuits ofcourse.

We had a new person join us today, it's always lovely to welcome new friends to our fellowship here at Peckwood Forest Space 🤗
