And they are signed up for another year!

Our wonderful, generous church wardens for whom we are very grateful for!

Thanks to everyone at St Cross for hosting us at the Archdeacon's visitation where Church Wardens across two deaneries gather together to be formally admitted into their posts!

Have you ever stopped to look at the stories in our windows?

One of the joys of an old church is that every corner has a story to tell.

Take, for example, the Grimble Grove window. Installed in memory of a local family, it is one of many features that connects St George's to the people and history of Altrincham.

For generations, parishioners have gathered beneath these windows to celebrate, mourn, pray and give thanks. They are not simply works of art; they are reminders of the lives, faith and community that have shaped our town.

Next time you're passing by, why not pop in and take a closer look?

You don't need to be a churchgoer to appreciate the craftsmanship, history and stories that make St George's such a special place.

Do you have a favourite feature of the church building? Let us know in the comments.

You don't have to come on a Sunday to be part of St George's.

Throughout the week our buildings are used by people of all ages, backgrounds and beliefs.

Some come for worship.
Some come for friendship.
Some come because they need support.
Some come simply because they're curious.

We're proud to be a parish church serving our whole community.

Looking for a friendly face and a good conversation?

Every Wednesday, following our morning Eucharist, we gather for Coffee Break.

It's a chance to meet others, enjoy a drink and spend some time in good company.

Some people come every week.
Others drop in occasionally.

Either way, there's always room for one more!

Everyone is welcome.
