I am very grateful to Rev Iain MacAskill and Fiona for showing me around the Capstone Christian Centre in Alness. The team hosts a wide range of community events and support groups, and I arrived just in time for their daily community drop-in cafe, Cafe Connect.

My thanks also to the volunteers at the Highland Foodbank for taking the time to speak with me, and to Rev Roddy Macrae, CEO of Mission International - a locally based Christian charity providing international relief. Their work, and the commitment of everyone I met, is inspiring.

It is something else to see such compassion and dedication in reaching out to people in need. A real community spirit - my thanks again to everyone who took the time to share with me.
