We need 4 more team members until we hit 600 knitters.

There are 2 weeks until our next knitting party 🙂

There are 84 days until Christmas day.

And there are 91 days until we begin all over again with RCA 2027

would like to day a huge thank you to Christa who popped in today to drop off some brilliant donations and encourage the team, and even allowed us to take a photo. We appreciate you so much!
Thank you as well to everyone who pops in regularly with donations, and all who have already responded to our plea for help this winter. With the Lottery funding being unavailable this year we really do need the local community to rally round to help us. Please do what you can, spread the word, and keep the tins coming every week, so we can feed our neighbours in need in Ash, Ash Vale, Ash Green and Tongham. We can’t do it without you all!

Amazing news

✨ What an incredible weekend! ✨

We’ve been overwhelmed catching up with so many wonderful people and organisations congratulating us on receiving The King’s Award for Voluntary Service. It’s been heartwarming to relive events and moments with presenters past and present, as well as the charities, not-for-profits, and businesses we’ve worked with over 10 amazing years of broadcasting.

Thank you to everyone who has sent their good wishes—your support means the world to us! The community spirit we’ve felt is truly something special. 💜

Pilgrimage News Sept 2026
We are planning a Pilgrimage, please join us! We want to deepen our discipleship, spend some quality time with God and with one another, and fundraise for St Mary’s Ash Vale.

You can join the walk, give support, pray, sponsor us, or all 4! Part 1 is a short pilgrimage from Ash Vale to Guildford Cathedral, a half-day challenge in September 2026. Part 2 is a multi-day pilgrimage from Ash Vale to Canterbury Cathedral in May 2027. What an amazing adventure!

Please do give generously. We are facing a deficit this year and need funding to be able to keep doing everything we do. If you enjoy our services, community events and sundayschool, if you value our Community Cafe, Toddler Group, the Chapel Project, Chapel Kids, Picnic and Play, the Ash Villages Food parcels Project, Amaha We Uganda, Chapel Arts, Chapel Music, our community halls, and all our other work, please give generously.
