There is no Friday Fellowship for May at St Laurence's, but we will be back on 5th June for prayer, refreshments and discussion.

As we end Good Friday and head into Saturday, we keep our eyes fixed on the coming light of Easter Sunday. At St Laurence's we will be celebrating Jesus's resurrection with a Dawn Service on Sunday at 6:00am (with hot cross buns afterwards!), and then we have Easter Day Holy Communion at 10:00am. Everyone is welcome!

Today is Good Friday, and there will be a reflective service from 12pm to 3pm as we remember Jesus's time on the cross. Please feel free to come for as long as you want. There are long periods of silence in the service, so please enter the church quietly.

Today is Maundy Thursday, and our service at 6:30pm is Holy Communion, when we remember Jesus sharing the Last Supper with his friends.
Everyone is welcome, and the church will be open once again between 2pm and 6pm for quiet reflection and prayer.

Tonight's 6:30pm service is Tenebrae, which means darkness or shadows. This is a service of lament and penitence as we move closer and closer to Good Friday and the cross, and includes the extinguishing of candles as the service progresses.

Once again, the church is open this afternoon between 2pm and 6pm as a quiet space for reflection and prayer, or just to escape from the busyness of everyday life.
