As well as our 170th year anniversary celebrations, we also celebrate the 30 years service of Mrs Joyce Maciver , who has faithfully served the Church as Session Clerk as well as many other roles with the Church . Joyce was presented with a long service certificate by the Moderator of the General Assembly of The Church of Scotland , the Rt. Revd Gordon Kennedy along with our own minister Rev Dr. Peter Donald.

Many thanks to everyone who came along to our Garden Party this afternoon . The rain managed to stay away and allowed us to have our outdoor activities.

A huge thanks to everyone who contributed in any way to help make this afternoon run so smoothly.

We now turn our attention to our service of dedicated tomorrow which is at 10:30am (not our usual 09:30am start ) which will be led by the Rt. Rev. Gordon Kennedy Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland.

Light lunch and refreshments will be served afterwards. All are welcome !

In addition to our garden party on Saturday, our Sunday service will be a service of dedication and will start at 10:30am (not our normal 09:30 am start). Afterwards, refreshments and light lunch will be served .

JOINT ECUMENICAL PENTECOST SUNDAY SERVICE AT CORPUS CHRISTI

Next Sunday, 24 May 2026 will be Pentecost Sunday, the day we remember the coming of the Holy Spirit on the disciples and the birth of the church.
To celebrate this very important occasion, a special joint service of praise and thanksgiving with the congregation of Corpus Christi, Calderbank will be held in Corpus Christi Church at 7pm. All are welcome !

This year our Church building is 170 years old and to mark this anniversary we are holding a garden party on Saturday 6th June from 1pm -3pm , with many activities planned for the day .

On Sunday 7th June at 10:30am a special service to mark 170 years will take place .

Summer Holiday Club
Will take place from Monday 20th - Thursday 23rd July from 10am - 12 noon each day. All primary school aged children are welcome - registration details to follow .
