From shipwreck to Rome, Acts 28 shows us the unstoppable power of the Gospel.

Paul experienced incredible hospitality on the island of Malta, reminding us how God often works through simple acts of kindness and welcome. But the story doesn’t stop there. Despite hardship, imprisonment, and opposition, Paul remained focused on his mission: taking the Gospel to the very heart of the Roman Empire.

What began with a small group of believers continued to spread like wildfire across the globe, with countless people coming to faith in Jesus. Acts ends not with a conclusion, but with an invitation — the mission is still continuing today through us.

Join us as we explore Acts 28 and discover how hospitality, faithfulness, and bold witness can impact the world for Christ.

Last Sunday, we spent time in Acts 24, reflecting on Paul’s bold witness before Felix and what it means to live with both evangelistic courage and unwavering integrity.

Even in the face of accusation and pressure, Paul didn’t compromise his faith or message. He spoke truth with clarity, trusted God with the outcome, and lived in a way that matched his words. It’s a powerful reminder that our lives are part of our witness, what we say and how we live should point people to Christ.

This week, may we be people who share our faith with confidence and live with integrity, knowing that God is with us in every conversation and circumstance.

Last week’s sermon explored a powerful and moving parallel between Abraham and Isaac, and God the Father and Jesus.

Just as Isaac carried the wood for his own sacrifice, we see a foreshadowing of Christ—the true and greater Son—who would carry the cross.

Jesus is revealed as the suffering servant, fully obedient in a way humanity was always meant to be from the very beginning of God’s creation. Where we fall short, He remained faithful. Where we are broken, He was perfect. His willing sacrifice was not the end of the story—it was vindicated and accepted through the undeniable reality of His resurrection.

What makes this even more compelling is that the resurrection of Jesus is not only recorded in Scripture, but also appears in dozens of ancient writings from the 1st and 2nd centuries, from both Christian and non-Christian sources. This historical witness strengthens our confidence that the cross was not defeat—but victory.

If you missed it, make sure to listen back—this message is one that truly gets to the heart of the Gospel.

🔥 When the chips are down… God is still at work🔥

In Acts of the Apostles chapter 23, we find Paul surrounded by danger, betrayal, and uncertainty. Accused, struck, plotted against, and facing death—everything looks like it’s falling apart.

But right in the middle of the chaos… God steps in!

✨ The Lord appears to Paul with a powerful reminder: “Take courage!”
✨ A hidden plot is uncovered at just the right moment.
✨ Protection is provided in ways no one could have orchestrated.

What looked like defeat was actually divine positioning.

Sometimes life backs us into a corner. The pressure builds, the odds stack up, and it feels like there’s no way out. But Acts 23 reminds us:

👉 God is not absent in the struggle
👉 God is not late in the crisis
👉 God is not limited by human plans

🙌 He is the God who works miracles when the chips are down, for His glory and for the good of those called according to His purpose.

So if you're feeling surrounded today, don’t lose heart. What you can’t see, God is already working out.

💬 Take courage. God isn’t finished yet.

Acts 21 reminds us that following God’s calling isn’t always easy—but it is always worth it.

In this powerful chapter, we see Paul continuing his journey to Jerusalem, fully aware of the hardships waiting for him. Despite warnings, fear, and uncertainty, he remains steadfast in his mission. His courage challenges us to ask: Are we willing to trust God even when the path ahead looks difficult?

Last week’s sermon unpacked this incredible moment, exploring obedience, sacrifice, and unwavering faith in the face of opposition. It’s a message that speaks right into our everyday lives.

When people in Acts 19 encountered Jesus, their lives changed overnight.

Many who practiced magic and other questionable practices brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly—even though they were worth a fortune, millions by today’s monetary value.

Following Christ made their choice simple… but not easy.

Sometimes faith means letting go of what once defined us, but all for the shaping of a life that will be filled full by God’s presence.

🔥 What would you be willing to walk away from if you knew Jesus was calling you?

📖 Acts 18 – Don’t Give Up

Feeling discouraged? In Acts 18, Paul faces opposition, but God gives him this powerful reminder:

“Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you…” – Acts 18:9–10

When it gets hard, God says: Keep going. Keep speaking. I am with you.

What happens when faith meets culture? 🤔
How do we stand firm when truth isn’t popular? 🔥

In Acts 17, Paul boldly shared Jesus with the Greeks by connecting the gospel to their culture—without compromising the message. Some responded with hostility (Jason faced real persecution for his faith), while others, like the Bereans, carefully examined the Scriptures to see if Paul’s teaching was true.

Two responses. One message.
Opposition or examination.

We’re called to stand firm like Jason 💪 and search the Scriptures like the Bereans 📖—testing every teaching against God’s Word.
