Next Sunday 1st February will see our very own vicar Revd. Anne Lawson installed as honorary Canon of Chester Cathedral. This is a title bestowed upon a priest by the Bishop recognising work done beyond the parish. Revd Anne has been given this honour for her work amongst the rural communities in the diocese. The service will take place at 3pm Evensong in Chester Cathedral and is a public service. Anyone who would like to follow the service on line can do so at

Tomorrow (Jan 26th) we will gather in church to celebrate the life of our dear friend Revd. John Malbon who died on the 22nd Dec. The service will start at 11.15 followed by a reception at Acton Parish Hall. All are welcome, donations in Johns memory will be received in aid of Christian Aid, The bible Society and Emmaus Uk.
