EID AL-FITR - 1447AH | 2026

Alhamdulillah, due to positive moon sightings of the moon, we are pleased to announce that tomorrow, Friday 20th March 2026, will be 1st Shawwal 1447AH.

Eid al-Fitr prayer will take place at 9:30am at Raza Jamia Masjid, Accrington.

ANNUAL KHATAM AL-QUR'AN GATHERING 1447 / 2026

Alhamdulillah, we were honoured to host over a thousand brothers & sisters on the night of 27th Ramadan 1447 / 16th March 2026 for our annual Khatam al-Qur'an and Laylat al-Qadr gathering.

This year, we were honoured to once again listen to the recitation of the Qur'an in all 10 Qira'at by our Imam, Shaykh M***i Muhammad Saeed Mujaddidi sahib and his student, Mawlana Qari Adam Muhyiddin.

M***i Sahib, Maulana Bashir Khan Sahib, Mawlana Qari Adam Muhyiddin, Hafiz Mohammed Iqbal and Mawlana Nazeer Hussain Qadri were presented with gifts from the community and the Masjid committee.

Hafiz Muhammad Hassan Nawaz son of Muhammad Nawaz completed the memorisation of the Qur'an.

The gathering ended with tea & biscuits, food, Salat al-Tasbih and special du'a for the whole Ummah especially the Muslims of Gaza and Palestine.

May Allah accept all of our worship throughout this month.
